Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Masteries
*Still testing this, but the methodology behind the build has allowed me to have some very hilarious early game antics... Such as a double kill on two heroes that figured a level one barrel won't hurt THAT much. Enemy hero corpses under their tower is always a great morale killer to their team.
Anyway, feedback of all sorts would be much appreciated. Flame away all you want, just please please use a modicum of logic if you do.
This build is heavily focused on early and mid game kills, by stacking ability power items right away. To balance out late-game performance, grab Rod of Ages and Then Lich Bane, to provide the HP and DPS needed for the later epic team fights.
Ignite with the talent provides the extra 10 AP right from the start, and works double towards getting the first blood or almost-first blood - for that extra gold to afford the expensive items.
Clarity is to compensate for the lack of mana regen in early game items and my rune setup. It's also supplemented, however, by a heavy emphasis on the utility tree.
I avoid the 21 point talent in utility because ignite benefits us still while cooling down, via the 10 AP. Clarity doesn't particularly need the shorter cool-down either, provided you don't waste barrels on anything that moves, and that you use his W skill at appropriate opportunities.
