Introduction
Hello my name is Wippo and I am the creator of this guide ;)
I have no fancy division right now, but in s5 I was Gold IV. I play EUNE so you are welcome to add me if you would like to play with me. I will try my best to explain everything there is about Graves and how to play him top. I've played over 50 games with him and he has become one of my favorite champions.
Runes
Runes
First off let's start with runes. These are the standard runes i use on Graves when i play him. For runes I take:
Greater Mark of Armor Penetration9x Greater Mark of Armor Penetration
These runes are optimal for penetration the armor the enemy has.
9x Greater Seal of ArmorChoose Armor Seals for a little defense so you can sustain longer in battles.
9x Greater Glyph of Magic ResistIt's good with Magic Resist Glyphs so ap champs won't kill you that easily.
3x Greater Quintessence of Attack SpeedAttack Speed Quintessences because Graves lacks of Attack Speed. You can switch them out with
Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage if you want more early game damage.
