Introduction

Before I introduce myself, I'll take the time to give a slight intro on Nidalee's role in the game. Nidalee's main job is to push the lane so hard that 2 people from the enemy team will have to come stop you. For that reason, you will need a lot of wards since you will not know when you will be ganked.
Ok now to introduce myself, I'm GrizzyBunny, yes GrizzyBunny not GrizzlyBunny. I'm no where near to being pro, I don't think I'm pro. I think I am experienced and I've been playing LoL for a pretty long time.

Before I start the guide, let me tell you this,

BUY A Sight Ward EVERYTIME YOU GO BACK TO BASE.

Pros / Cons

Pros:

- Tons of damage throughout the game
- She's like a snowball (Once you have a kill lead on your opponent, you'll probably win your lane)
- Lots of action
- Harasses better than AD Nidalee since you stack dorans blade and get a pickaxe for enhanced harass
- All skills do lot's of damage!

Cons:

- Sooooo squishy
- Pretty easily shut down due to squishiness
- Somewhat mana hungry
- If you don't win your lane, the game's going to be pretty hard to win.
- Need to keep your Guisnoo's Rageblade stacks up at all time.

Summoner Spells

Nothing beats Flash + Ignite anymore on Nidalee

Flash
On Nidalee this is a must, it is useful for escaping, kill combos and positioning.

Ignite
Goes perfectly well with your Kill Combo and is perfect for lanes fights.

Skills and Skills Sequence

Prowl

Explanation:

Moving through brush increases Nidalee's movement speed by 15% for 2 seconds.

One of the best passives in the game, gives you so much Movement Speed so you can chase, escape, dodge and helps with last hitting.

Javelin Toss / Takedown

Explanation:

Human: Nidalee tosses her javelin, dealing 55 / 95 / 140 / 185 / 230 (+65% of ability power) magic damage on impact (deals up to 250% damage the further away the target is).

Cougar: Nidalee's next attack deals additional damage based on how low her opponent's life is.

Cooldown 6 seconds
Cost 50/60/70/80/90 mana
Range 1500

The does so much damage Mid/Late game. But what burns my eyes is when people use it in the early game. Always try not to harass with it since it takes lots of mana. In cat form, you just pounce and do all the skills, it's that easy.

TIP: If you throw your spear and pounce back right after, you will get a short damage boost.

Bushwhack / Pounce

Explanation:

Human: Nidalee lays a trap that deals 80 / 125 / 170 / 215 / 260 (+40% of ability power) damage over 2 seconds, reveals the target, and reduces their armor and magic resistance by 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40% for 12 seconds. Traps last for 4 minutes.

Cougar: Nidalee lunges forward, dealing damage to surrounding enemies. Pounce is not affected by cooldown reduction.

Cooldown 18seconds
Cost 60 / 75 / 90 / 105 / 120mana
Range 900

First off, why would one not use the bushwhack. They obviously don't know what it's used for... This skill cuts armor by 40%, gives vision for about 8 seconds. It helps you control the bushes. The pounce is also perfect for starting the damage combo, escaping and all that. :)

Primal Surge / Swipe

Explanation:

Human: Nidalee heals an ally champion for 50/85/120/155/190 (+70% of ability power) and grants them a 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60% attack speed for 7 seconds.

Cougar: Nidelee claws at enemies in front of her.

Cooldown 10 seconds
Cost 60/80/100/120/140 mana
Range 600

With this skill, you will never have to recall. People will rage, since it is a heal with short cool down. But my favorite part of it is that it ALSO gives you incredible attack speed. So if you get caught up in a fight just pop that heal and your auto attack will own.

Aspect Of The Cougar

Pretty straight forward, it gives you 3 skills and you look like a cat. You get different taunt and Dance moves then human.

Cat Kill Combo:

Pounce -> Swipe -> Takedown -> Ignite -> Flash -> Repeat.

Gameplay / Champion Select

CHAMPION SELECT TIPS:

Careful, Nidalee is weak against Heal Reducers, Farm deny, Hard CC and dodge abilities. She is also weak to Pantheon, Kayle, Jax, Rengar

However, Nidalee is very strong versus Darius, Nasus, Olaf, Garen.

If Nidalee does have to go bottom she is best matched with people that go well with her poke combo such as:
Caitlyn, Ashe, Ezreal and Varus.

EARLY GAME (9 minutes):

Make sure you farm really good. What ever happens between level 1-4 will determine who will usually determine who is going to be dominating. Nidalee's passive gives her bonus movespeed for the next 2 seconds, which includes outside of the bush too. USE THIS. You gotta use this to auto-attack your lane opponent and go back into the bush. Exit the bush hit them once, go back into the bush, and repeat. Make sure you don't use your spear unless you're finishing a kill off. Focus on pushing.

MID GAME (9-20 minutes):

By now, you should be nearing completing your core item and at least 1/3 health left on the enemy turret. After you destroy the turret, it's a good idea to go back immediately and purchase around 3 wards so you become ungankable whether it's from mid lane or jungler. You also take this opportunity to take their Blue/Red buffs and gank mid or open a window for your team to do dragon.

LATE GAME:

You should now be unstopable, it will take about 3 people to get you off their carry. You should follow your group and never EVERRRR roam alone please. Spam traps and wards everywhere.
In team fights you can go straight for the carry.
