Champion Build Guide

Guardian Morgana Support (before it became meta)

By JDExclusive
Introduction
Hey! How's it going?!
You can call me Jay, or JD, and I got introduced to League of Legends by friends.

I started near the end of Season 3 and after my first placements, I got into Gold.
Over the seasons, I have solo climbed up and achieve Platinum in most of the following seasons and had a peak spot of Diamond.

I plan on streaming and creating YouTube videos of League of Legends and other games!

I would highly appreciate if you were able to follow me on Twitch and pop in to chat once in awhile!
I do not have a set schedule yet unfortunately. ( twitch.tv/JDExclusive )
Summoner Spells
Ignite/Flash or Exhaust/Flash
Item Set
Start off with: Spellthief's Edge + 2 Pots + Warding Totem.

Following would be the order you should get these items.
    - You do not need to rush to upgrade to Eye of the Watcher from Eye of Frost, Eye of Frost still gives 10% CDR.
    - Mobility Boots allows you to get back to lane, or gank other lanes, slightly faster and lets you leave and return to lane quicker after placing a few quick deep wards.
    - Purchase a Forbidden Idol and/or Fiendish Codex depending on the amount of Gold you have. (This allows for more CDR, which leads to more Q picks and/or more E black shields.)
    - You do not need to rush to complete Redemption and/or Banshees after getting Forbidden Idol and/or Fiendish Codex.

** As of now, you would be near 15-20 minute mark (possibly, lols), you would have 35% CDR (Including 5% from Cosmic Insight & not Including Scaling CDR Rune) [With Scaling CDR Rune, you would have near ~43% CDR]

- I start building up a Rylai's for more HP and the Unique Passive that slows enemies for 20% for 1 second.

-- In the instance where the game progresses longer than to be expected, I build a Zz'Rot to help me in wave management, so it can pressure a lane as my team pressures another lane for objectives, such as turrets, dragons, and baron.

--- Instead of Zz'Rot, you can purchase a Zhonya's.

--- ** I personally do not like purchasing one on Morgana Support because with the previous items of Banshee's and Rylai's and/or Zz'Rot, you are already fairly tanky and 2.5 seconds of Stasis denies me helping out my team out with Q snares, W for Additional Damage Over Time, and E black shields to cancel out CC. **-

*** I make it a habit to always have 2 Control Wards in my Inventory (unless I already have an Active Control Ward on the map, I leave 1 Control Ward in my Inventory).
Abilities
- If you're good at Q skill shots, try to max this as soon as possible.

- Level 2, instead of W, you would put a point into E to cancel out enemy CC, otherwise, W for more gold procs from the support item.

- If enemy team has a lot of CC, Max out E over Q. (2 to 3 points in Q before maxing E is okay).

*Probably distributed the points wrong, but it's okay.*
Runes
Resolve/Inspiration

-Guardian and Revitalize for shielding power
-Font of Life for some healing
-Bone Plating to take less damage

** Magical Footwear because free boots, cost efficient
** Cosmic Insight for all the good CDR

[ Scaling CDR = Fills in the missing 10% CDR to put us at Max 40% CDR ]
{ Besides Adaptive AD/AP and Scaling HP, I sometimes change them to Flat Armor or Flat MR depending on enemy team comp (Ex. More AD, Armor & More AP, MR) }
Conclusion
Thanks for checking out my Morgana support guide!
I hope you give it a try in Ranked and win lots of games!

As I said before, this is my first guide created so it may not be as flashy and/or appealing as others.

All feedback appreciated. I will respond to the best of my ability when I can.

I hope that you found it informative and get somewhat of a feel of my thought process on my build paths.

I would highly appreciate if you were able to follow me on Twitch and pop in to chat once in awhile!

Again, thanks for checking out my guide and I hope to see you in the next one!

Stay awesome!
