Hello Summoners Delvoid Here! I am a long-time League of legends player, primarily playing Urgot and rumble. I am currently learning other champs like Kled in the Top lane. PROS: -Highest Base Hp -Built in Grevious Wounds -Strong early -Ultimate that gives a huge MS boost to your allies for engages -Great sticking potential with E Q R -Can easily push lane and roam for map pressure with ultimate -Skaarllll

CONS: -Slow attack speed -Heavily reliant on skillshots -Poor mobility when unmounted and slow -Without Skaarl and passive on CD you are very vulnerable -W auto activate is hard to play around -80% auto damage without Skaarl - No Jousting or Chaaaaaaaarge!!! without Skaarl

Flash: Is a great Get Out of Jail Free card. Definitely the best Summoner spell choice on Kled. Great to combo with E also to escape from them pesky ganks.

Ignite: It provides you with early game kill pressure but it also has drawbacks. It can cause you to gain a lot of unwanted jungle pressure and one bad trade early can cost you the lane

Teleport:Despite the nerfs in the recent patch its still very viable top lane. It allows split push pressure and Tp plays into the bot side of the map. However the nerfs have allowed other summoner spells top lane to become viable. So make sure to see what your other laner is running! If they have a aggressive summoner call for some jungle pressure.

Precision - Conquer +Domination

	– By far one of the best choices for kled. The adaptive force and 15% healing from all sources makes for great extended trades. Press the Attack is another fantastic option for squishy matchups with burst trades like Quinn Teemo
	– Compared to the other 2 options in this tree this is just the superior choice in every regard. Great for the clutch kill and fantastic in team fights. Pairs well with Kled's all or nothing play style.
	– With kleds insanely low attack speed this helps make his autos feel a lot better and synergies very well with Violent Tendencies. If the enemy team has a lot of CC I would recommend taking Legend: Tenacity
	– Gives you more damage the lower health you are. Great when playing into champs with high burst damage. Coup de Grace is also a viable option. Gives more damage to low Hp enemies. However I find Last Stand fits my aggressive play style better.

Domination

	– Best rune in this tree, gives you lethality when you dash for the all in damage. Taste of Blood is also a viable option if you want more sustain in lane.
	– This is my go to 2nd rune here as it best fits my play style. The other 2 options on this line are also viable, pick the one that fits your playstyle best

Resolve
Resolve can be taken as the 2nd rune tree vs lane bullies/ poke heavy champs.

	- Take this rune against lane bullies like Darius Renekton who focus on quick short burst trades.
	- Take this rune into tanks. The bonus will not be great until mid/late game however is a great payoff.
	- Great for pushing towers though offers no defensive trait.

Sorcery
I take this for late game and to gain the 40% cdr when taking only cleaver + umbral glaive.

	- Great for scaling into the late game
	- I take this to gain the extra 10% cdr when only taking clever + Umbral Glaive

	Skaarl the Cowardly Lizard (Passive):Hover the image for full skill tooltip. This passive will make or breaks you, it has taken me a long time to get used to unmounted Kled. If you know you are about to dismount try to save W and land a Q before dismounting for the burst damage and fast remount. People will really underestimate how fast you remount with allows for great 1v2 or outplays. You remount from 5 auto attacks on a Q on a champion
	Beartrap on a Rope / Pocket Pistol (Q): Beartrap on a rope is a great damage ability. Pre level 3 Q is used for poking. If you stay within the radius for 1.75 seconds he pulls the target 100 units towards them, slowing them and dealing damage as well as reducing all healing on them by 60% for 5 seconds .The 150% damage to minions makes it great for last hitting from a distance. Do not be sparing as this costs no mana to use! Pocket Pistol is the dismounted version of Q, it becomes a shotgun. It fires 5 pallets each one that hits a champion gives 5 courage back. Try to be as close as possible for max damage and courage back. It’s great for kiting as when shot it launches kled backwards. It can also be used to get over walls for escaping.
	Violent Tendencies (W): This is most of your damage. It is a simple 4 hit passive that does max health damage with the last proc. Make sure to play around this especially when dismounted. In the early game do not level W until you get dismounted. As you dismount, skill it to regain a fast mount and take the advantage in the fight.
	Jousting (E):This is a very simple ability. It is your gap close and escape from ganks. Using this with your Q makes for a great combo and burst damage. The 2nd cast can be used to follow champions over terrain but the first cannot. The 2nd cast also goes a longer distance. Cannot be casted when dismounted.
	Chaaaaaaaarge!!! (R): Used to chase and engage your team fights. Try to be as far away as possible for the max health damage. Great for roaming ganks early on to snowball and get yourself and team ahead.

	DORAN’S BLADE: This is your go to starting item 99% of the time
	DORAN’S SHIELD: I will take this item when vs heavy poke champs or ranged champs. Just keep in mind you lose a lot of trading power early

	BLACK CLEVER: One of the best items on Kled, it provides everything you need making it a core item. It gives you damage, cooldown and the ability to stick to targets even more with the Phage passive: Rage. After Tiamat this is a first choice item unless they are not building any armour then I rush Umbral Glaive.

	UMBRAL GALIVE: Honestly for my play style I love this item. It give Lethality and 10% cdr and is insanely good for getting jungle pressure/ clearing wards. If I know im shoving lane + roaming and the enemy have not build Armor this is my first item if not 2nd.

	TITANIC HYDRA: This item is the second core item on Kled and is amazing. Gives you health, attack damage, wave-clear and an amazing active that gives you more burst and a faster 4th Violent Tendencies. Cleave does so much damage thanks to your already huge base hp

STERAK’S GAGE: Provides great burst potential with the 50% bonus attack damage and a shiled after taking 400-1800 damage. Great for skirmishes

NINJA TABI: Not much to say, if the enemy is AA heavy take these. If they are CC heavy take Mercs

	GUARDIAN ANGEL: If you are really ahead consider buying this as a 3rd item if not grab it 5th/6th. It is great for when you engage team fights and gives stall potential

Situational items

	DUSKBLADE OF DRAKTHARR: Going full lethality is sometimes an option. If they enemy team has a lot of squishy champions and no armour I will go umbral glaive -> duskblade-> cleaver. This gives a lot of burst dmg and the 40% cdr kled loves
	ESSENCE REAVER: If you are snowballing and don’t want Umbral Glaive, Essence Reaver is a great choice. This gives you the 20% cdr you will miss out on and a ton of damage

1) Do not level up your W at level 2. Hold until you need it, most of the time for when you dismount for a fast remount.
2) Try to save your TP for 6. Look to back, spend and ulti bot/mid giving you the option to TP back top if required.
3) You can use your unmounted Q to buffer certain interactions and stop them. Like Blitz hook, Camille E, etc.
4) Be aggressive and once you have Tiamat look to shove your lane and make ulti plays around the map or invade the jungle
5) If you Q a target before dismounting it stays connected and gives a great amount of courage for remounting.
6) You can combo your E and Q
7) Look to always be poking with Q
8) Always be looking for a Q E W E -> out burst trade
9) 2nd part of your E can follow over terrain as well as R
10) When dismounted you are vulnerable and slow, be very careful

This is not specifically to do with any champ but it will help with overall game play.
Ward!
Objective control is key. Buy control wards on every return if you have the gold left over (try to back with enough gold for item + pink). Not only does it help you out but your other lanes can keep track of enemy players.

Pings
Ping for anything and everything. Set up your hotkeys so they're easy to use. If you have pinged for anything, ping it again after 20-30 seconds if things haven't changed. DO NOT SPAM PING unless it is urgent. You won't be annoying your team, they'll be grateful of the information.

Don’t Flame
We have all been there and sometimes it is hard to resist. Own up for your own mistakes and if chat gets too much /mute all and concentrate on your own game play. Try to stay positive in chat, you are not going to win the game by being abusive in game. That will only cause people to troll/ int even more.

Check the Map
I laughed at myself for even putting this here. I am a sucker for punishment and always forget to check the map before making a play/ engaging. This very easy to overlook but check the map every 20-30 seconds to see any missing players or any potential opportunities incoming. I actually started to use a ping sound alert every 10 seconds to remind me to check the map.

Know Your Capabilities!
Knowing your abilities is all well and good but knowing how they match up against each opponent can be tricky. Test the waters. Each time they come back from base with new items, just attempt another auto-attack or 2 to see how the damage is different. If unsure just farm safely and wait for ganks/ misplays

CS
I cannot stress enough how important knowing how to CS is. Practise daily and improve in a custom game. You want to be aiming to get 8cs per min each game. Do not be afraid to give up CS if it means you not taking a bad trade. Check stats tools to see where your weakest csing times are and try to improve.

Replays
If you really want to improve, watch your replays. Look at what YOU could of done better that game and look for your mistakes. Watch high elo players VODS of the match ups you're unsure of to learn from them.

CS challenge
A fun challenge for you to improve your cs/ wave manipulation. Go into a custom game and try to hit 100 CS without missing a single one
