Hello and welcome to my full AP spellfisting Taric guide. In no way practical and really fun to get right, this guide might not win you every game, but you're guaranteed alot of ***** and giggles. This guide was inspired by SivHD - check him out if you don't already know him. He constantly does whacky, intersting builds and AP Taric is so rare, I just had to make this build in his honour.

Runes can make the difference. Don't be cheap and get good ones at lvl 20! For Taric, i build him into a mix of AP runes and penetration runes to get damage across, making sure no enemy goes unspellfisted. Again, if you can't afford the hybrid runes for some reason, just get regular magic penetration runes.

For Summoner Spells i choose Flash and Exaust. Alternatively, Smite for the jungle and Barrier for a more tanky build can work too.

My Masteries for Taric are split into a 21:9:0 ratio for maximum spellfisting ability and tanking enemy pain makers. Junglers might want to consider Bladed Armour instead of Hardiness and 2 Butcher instead of 2 Sorcery.

In this guide, Taric will be built into a mix of full AP items, AP/tank items and on-hit effect items to kick *** and chew bubble gum. The Gauntlets and Litch Bane are my most important items for him. Rabadons adds to your ability to pwn, Ohmwrecker is good for chasing at low level and the rest you can pretty much guess :P .

This still needs to be optimised, but for now the sequence works fairly well. Make sure to think about this and, if you have any CONSTRUCTIVE critisism to give, please feel free to post it here.

Farming:

Since AP Taric acts as the AP Carry/Offtank, farming is somewhat more important than otherwise playing Taric. Junglers, just do yo thang.

Ranked play:

Haven't had the chance to play him in ranked games yet. If you have, feel free to leave the results in the comments and offer CONSTRUCTIVE critisism on how to improve the build.

Teamwork:

AP Carries/Offtanks generally need good teamwork not only from their Supporter, but also from their Jungler. Jungling Taric needs to cooperate with all lanes to make sure he get good ganks and helps his team as much as possible.

Jungling:

I suggest starting off at blue, getting wolves, wraiths and then either going back before red or try to take down red instead of wraiths, in which case you then go back. After getting both Buffs, find a possible lane to gank. take dragon on ASAP, even if it means mid needs to help. Rinse, repeat.

Pros: Fun, powerful and definitley troll. Just make sure not to lose ;P

Cons: can go awefully tits up very quickly and requires at least some teamwork, which most people in low ELO and unranked have no clue about.

AP Taric is fun and something to try out with your friends when you become a bit bored to LoL. His high burst damage makes him a super duper spellfister and tanky traits will make enemies cry, rage and give up on hope as you crush them one by one.
