Hello summoners, this is my first guide for the champion i love the most! I hope you can carry you to challenger just as expect him to!

This guide will cover AP builds, there are AD/Hybrid ones that are useful against certain match ups but mostly it will be AP teemo you play.

This guide is not finished, as my first one id like to see feedback and advice :)

Pros:

Excellent farming capability.
Blind utterly destroys auto attack champions
Free wards! Mmhm shrooms.
Shrooms can turn the tide of a team fight if placed correctly.
Excellent Baron control
Excellent speed.

Cons:

Squishy as hell
Not great at team fighting
Has very hard counters
Split pushing is the best way, some team comps he just doesnt work with
Hated by all

General Item order

Starting items

This is the start that you will generally go with, against none too pokey champions such as Trundle and Tryndamere, gives more bang for your buck than

This is what you will take against champions such as Jayce, Riven, champions with early burst that you just need that little extra for, builds into items you will need for the match up.

Early Items Order

If you arent against an AD champion, skip the and get the , health, ap and penetration and builds into one of the best items for Teemo.

Mid game items

Teemo scales really well with AP, his mushrooms are devastating coupled with 1 shroom can generally send an enemy packing.

If you are against an opponent such as Akali, who is mostly magic damage and close range, after getting your i would suggest going for , it will help alot with mitigating her damage and giving you more.

Late Game

/

Teemo is not suited to prolonged fights later in the game, however a is well suited to allowing time inbetween cooldowns, against bursty champions such as Riven i would go with Lichbane as you want to kill her as quickly as possible.
Against opponents such as Trundle, is better suited as he becomes rather tanky and you cannot burst him down.
