The runes listed are very strong on veigar right now, would appreciate suggestions for rune improvements but these runes are really good at this moment in time.

Personally for the items, Ive found it more effective for the team if I take Banshee and zhonya instead of Rabadons and luden. But it is Alot more fun building the cap and ludens. If im not wrong, you can get 1000AP pre lvl 15 if you get ahead. Always rush Hextech belt even if it sounds stupid because it really isnt stupid. You may have seen a few korean pro players build Probelt and thats because somehow it works. For Boots you can Choose between sorcerers and Mercury treads, depends on your matchup/preference. You can also choose to but dark seal first instead of dorans but its really really risky.

Pros of Veigar
- Super strong burst
- Works extremely well with a good team
- Pretty much an anti mage
- Versatile (Can go top or support aswell as mid)
- E is one of the most broken skill in the game
- Secretly great for pushing towers
- Not easily ganked by enemy and easy for ally jungle to gank you
- One shotting someone who is half health at level 8 with your ult makes the enemy very salty


Cons of Veigar
- If you miss your combo early on you're pretty screwed
- If a melee champion gets anywhere near you you're screwed
- In my experience, one of the worst farmers in the game.
- If you get behind it can be terribly difficult to get back
- Very low mobility
