Hello summoners! My name is Totalplank, and this is my guid to Jax! A little about myelf, I've played League of Legends since the start of season 2 and I would like to think I know quite a lot about the game. I've played every role extensively, and I have found that my best role is probably in the top lane. I used to love jax before his rework, with hundreds of dodges, but after his rework, I stopped playing him for a while. I started playing him again with his new E mechaninc, and I still find his a great solo top and fantastic for Solo-Q. I'm Currenly Gold 4, and I'm hoping for Platinum by the end of season 4. Jax recently received a nerf to his base damage, armor, health and magic resist, but I still believe he is very good, although his early game isn't quite as strong. But this does free him up in ranked games, because previously he was a perma ban in middle ELO games. I hope you enjoy my guide, and if you do, remember to give it a thumbs up! Jax is a an Off-Tank Semi-Carry, who excels at sustained fights, tanking and dealing a surprising amount of burst in lane. He has great dueling potential with his kit, but is quite item reliant. He is a lane bully versus almost anyone apart from Ranged Casters like Ryze or lissandra, but he can beat them in a straight up fight with not many issues. He has a great Mid and late game, being able to split push brilliantly and then participate in fights. He can also destroy baron and dragon once he has a BOTRK.

General Tankiness
Hybrid Damage so hard to counter with items
Great chase and escape

Cons

Item reliant (Requires Tri-force and BOTRK to become effective in mid game)
Countered hard CC
Can be bursted by assassins
No AOE

Overall, Jax is a great sustain damage dueler, who can easily take objectives and also teamfight. He's really the whole package. A very solid pick for any team.
