Hi there. im a platinum support main and i am one that is fun to play karma, im going to show you few tips on how to play this, lovely, champ.

runes

I do suggest the runes page overlying for every game, all the ability power/magic pen come from the poke, i love the "seals of armor" cause of been in bottom you could find yourself trade with some AA, expecially for your Mantra s passive, but there might bee some changes you can do. If you are against an hard ap laner in bottom, you can put "9x seal of the mana regeneration" and than change the glyphs for some magic resist, so you are able to out poke him.
If you die to many times with this rune page you can even put some "Seal of the health", i do suggest those seals when against a leona or somethin like that.

Items

I do love play karma as full support so, there are the items i find Core:
Rylai's crystal scepter: with this item you are able to poke with more safety and peel your carry s like a god, plus it bring to you a lot of Hp/Ap.
Mikael's crucible: mana regen, magic resist, cooldown reduction and MANA REGEN plus a cleanse.
What more do you want? the perfect support item.
Frost queen claim: it give to you AP - mana regen - cooldown reduction and with the new buff at its active, i find this item way better than the talisman, it has a lot of kill potentional...welcome to the soloQ.

Pros / Cons

pro s:

- lane bully
- nice peel
- with rylai brings a lot of cc's
- AoE shields
- has a good damage as a support

con s:

- not that easy to main
- with a nice gank she dies almost 100%
- kinda useless if behind
- squishy as an egg

summoner spells

As a lane bully i do suggest the ignite, so your kill potentional can bee a real pressure to them.
Exhaust when you are against an assassin that can burst down you or your carry's very fast.
Flash is essential for a champion like Karma is. motionless as a block of wood.
