lux is one of the few supports that can truly make playing ivern hard due to she out ranges u in everything but if u play ur cards right and use bushes in river to play mind games u can make it

about me
ivern is a mind game champion and having ur team understand that can help alot. Filling in your team on wat his abilities do and how to use them helps this. ivern is one of the few champs i know that synergy well with not just 1 lane but most lanes and jg. witch we will talk more about in the synergy section.
ivern is rare he serneries well with not just adc but most lanes and jg due to his skills and cc.
so his Q when snared if ur team members also right click the snared enimy it pulls them into range this skill is can be used many ways 1 is allowing a rnage jg to come over walls giving some unique ganking positions.
his w is dropping bushes and giving him a range passive as long as in bushes and magic dmg.
now people question this skill with "sooo u just put a bush down" and miss the real use of it. This skill can be used many ways 1 is witha cait or rangar. putting a bush down ontop of a rangar when ganking allows himt o hop and stick to ganked enimies and usually a kill. it also procs caits passive cait and ivern make a scary team. the other use for this is to just play mind games with lane if u place bushes in river or by tower people play safer cuss they have no vision and afrqaid of a jg gank.
next is his E and the first one u max it shield ur allies or u for a period of time then burst slowing all enimies it hits. this can be used a few ways 1 is just to shield from dmg the cd isnt that bad. 2 is using it on a tanky champ that has good intiation like zac or voli so u can get that slow off on them zand shield them. 3rd is to escape place on champ and run as u snare and usually u can escape easily.
his R and his bread and butter for completely turning a losing fight into a win. his R summons a golem that can be controlled by R and attacks enimies on his 3rd hit he does a forward line nock up witch if with a yas is fun. wat most forget tho is u can us ur e shield on ur ulti and use him to dive and slow oponents to get the 3rd nock up. this can be used to dive towers or run. now when u root a oponent ur ulti automaticly gap closes to them this is good for escaping too.
now with all this and his abilities u see how he has tons of cc and synergies well the only flaw is this it takes time for ur ulti to get 3rd hit this is why we build tanky ivern for support u want to be right on the outside of fights using ur ulti and shield and snare to cause as much cc as possible.and when u build ap this makes it hard to survive gap closing champs.

team fights ur job is to use ur ulti to get the knock ups and snare the back line squishies so ur team can clos in and finish using this with shield to slow helps alot. now we r buildiing tanky so most of time u rarly ever shield urself ur focus is allies and those who r need the shield. and try to place ur shield on the tank who is starting the fight.Some things to know is this if u place a well timed shield on a charging malph or jumping jack the slow makes it nearly impossible for teams to escape leading into kills.
