Summoners
: Allows you to get away from bad situations as well as engage in team fights (Flash > Q > E). With a longer CD then Ghost , but more usability; it is a trade off.: Offensive summoner to help allow jax to win in fights against other bruiser/fighters(Darius,ect). Barrier works just as well if used correctly unless the champion has a lot of HP regen, this is where ignite becomes more useful because of its HP regen reduction.: Defensive summoners which is more useful in team fights, allows you to jump in a tank a lot of damage well regening, overshadowed by ignite in laning phase in most instances.: Situation summoner used against lanes you know you will not win(Such as against singed and other hard counters) allows you to reach your lane game more effectively.: Late game team summoner, just as Barrier, heal is best used in team fights, unlike barrier it helps teammates as well as yourself. Heal gets dominated in lane by ignite which is the most taken top lane summoner.

: Use these if enemy has a lot of slows: Use if enemy has high ap damage and or stuns/snares: Use these if the statement for the other boots do not apply.Provides tons of damage and icy passive.: makes you destroy tanks and dominate your lane by out sustaining them.: A must item for bruisers, has a nice passive as well as gives you more ad.: Can be used instead of BOTRK , provides more magic damage and gives your spell vamp, if the enemy is not hp stacking this is better then BOTRK.: HP stacking is still semi op, great item for hp and sustain, Guardian angle is better if you need more mr then you already have and or they have a BOTRK.: If the enemy has BOTRK and or you need more mr and survivability GA is a nice buy, GA can make the difference in a 60 min game team fight.
Pros/Cons
Pros
- One of the best late game champions
- Does massive mixed damage
- Can win games single single-handedly with his kit
- Can become tanky without building tanky because of his ultimate actives effect which turns ap and ad into resistances.
- Lacks natural sustain(one more reason i like life steal quints).
- Late game can 1v3 easily when played correctly
Cons
- Is melee auto attack depended, easily kited by blue ezreal and ashe.
- Does not have much tanyness without ult(If he gets stunned he can be easily killed)
- hard to master(Ward jumping, counter strike timing,ect..)
- weak game pre lv 6
- Long Cd on counter strike, creating a opening for enemys to attack with ranged attacks
