Should i main jayce ?

Yes, deffinetly jayce is a really good main pick for solo queue it's rarely changed and not often played/banned.
Should i play jayce in my ranked teams ?

Not really, jayce is a really good champ to climb in solo queue but in a ranked team its preferable to play a teamfight focused champ : a tank or a big cc champ. (I play jayce with my teams ^^ )
