Well, It's a great build, Especially in teamfights I always like to have an Jayce with me.
Good players will turn the tide of the battle when they play jayce because;
-His 'Q' For slow(HammerStance)
-His 'E' to push the enemy away from the player you try to save OR to push them back to the fight using Flash to position the enemy.(HammerStance)
-His 'E' to let friendly's get to safety quickly.(RangedStance)
Building Jayce Tanky will allow him to jump in hard to save a player or even multiple players.
(I only recommend this build for 5v5)
Runes
rune system with flat AD runes.
Combining those could also be very crucial.
Summoner Spell
Ignite, Exhaust or Bubble. Doesn't matter.
Botlane combo
I've tried it many times without success.
The best combo is Teemo/Jayce.
