Introduction
Why are they important?
They are Kha's bread and butter. His power and utility shoot through the roof with these, which I why I'm going to go over the importance of each one and why. This is the order I evolve him:
Evolved Spike Racks:
This is good for several reasons, with it he can clear huge waves, hitting more targets; his heal will be easier to proc and most importantly, with this evolution his "W" will proc his passive, allowing for a ranged AoE slow that does even more damage at no extra cost. It is a perfect kiting tool and helps him in every combat situation.Evolved Wings:
Wings are probably my favorite thing about this champion. He has one of the absolute best gap closers/escape tools in the entire game, and it comes off cooldown with every kill or assist, allowing for great kill chains and cleanup in combination with his ridiculous burst damage.Evolved Active Camouflage:
This, while not as cool as the first two evolutions, is really convenient because it A: mitigates damage while stealthed by 40%(That's really good) B: allows for better utility because of the 3rd cast of the ult, which will often make all the difference.Evolved Enlarged Claws:
"But it does more damage!" Not really. 8% of missing health is only strong for when people are low, and it's effect isn't as useful when dealing with the low max hp carries that you must be able to nuke in fights AND you must remember that this isn't an autoattack, its an ability. Although it has a short cooldown, it is NOT a BOTRK where you're doing % health damage multiple times a second. Secondly, the increased "Q" and basic attack range are not as useful as it might sound, because if you have wings, you already have the incredible gap-close, and if you have evolved camouflage, you already have a smaller gap closing tool that actually moves you closer to the target AND refreshes your passive, which can be more useful if there far enough away where you have to proc your passive with "W". This is probably one of the most controversial parts of my build, but it's also important to note, with kha you build a lot of AD. The damage increase doesn't scale off of AD so how much damage it is actually adding proportionally is not as high as you might think.Ionian Boots of Lucidity:
I consider these to be the best boots in the game for almost any AD assassin since most are ability dependent for doing burst damage and no boots can provide a bonus to AD or ArmorPen. On certain assassins this can be replaces with Mobo Boots or Berkserker's Greaves if you wish.Bloodthirster:
This is an extremely important item and I would never replace it. At max stacks it is 100AD and 18% lifesteal. All of his damage except for the bonus on his passive and his autoattacks scale off of huge amounts of BONUS AD. This means that it's not his TOTAL AD. Now lets think about this for a second, Kha's "Q" does 200% of BONUS AD in addition to base damage on isolated targets. That means that a Bloodthirster at max stacks adds a whopping 200 more damage to his "Q", which, for a single item, is insane.Black Cleaver:
Black Cleaver is just an all around great item, even post-nerf Black Cleaver is still really good because ArmorPen, AD, HP, and CDR are all just wonderful things to have.Spirit of the Spectral Wraith
This item is amazingly underrated. This item is incredibly cheap for the 20% Spell vamp, not to mention that it also adds CDR and a few other nice little things. You bothered to buy a machete in the first place and might as well build it into something. The spell vamp + AP gives excellent sustain since your heal on your "W" will heal you for 300+ hp.Iceborn Gauntlet:
Iceborn Gauntlet comes highly recommended because any kind of spellblade(minus lichbane) is very good to have since your skills are so spammable, and the bonuses it gives has a lot of synergy with his kit. CDR is a must, as always. Mana is VERY important on him because he's good at spending it. Finally the slow field/armor/AP just helps his dueling.Blade of the Ruined King:
This is just a great item now. It's not even important if theres a bunch of synergy with the kit of the champion or the other items, it's just really good.Maw of Malmortius:
I love this item because it gives decently high AD, MR is also hard to come buy and that plus the spell shield can easily save your life, not to mention the unique passive for bonus AD for missing hp which is really good for dueling and baiting. If you want any opinions on specific items not listed above, post in the discussion thread and I'll make sure to add it to this list, thank you ^^
Pretty standard operating procedure here. He really only needs a 1 person leash but a guard is never a bad thing. He is very viable, no problem clearing his jungle out before first "B". His level 3 ganks are also fairly strong, although as with most junglers, pre-level 6 ganks will feel somewhat lackluster unless your opponents posture themselves badly. Eventually I'll have links to examples of his clear, ganks, etc.
