Introduction
Hello summoners! My name is King Samuel XIV. This is my first guide, yes first, so if i have any mistakes, please tell me! Any feedback, please tell me! I need it!
Nocturne is a great jungler. He has natural lifesteal with his Umbra Blades. He has great ganks (both before and after level 6). he can invade and counter jungle very easily. My favorite jungler.
Duskbringer - Nocturne throws a shadow blade that deals damage, leaves a Dusk Trail, and causes champions to leave a Dusk Trail. While on the trail, Nocturne ignores unit collision and has increased Movement Speed and Attack Damage.
Shroud of Darkness - Nocturne empowers his blades, passively gaining attack speed. Activating Shroud of Darkness allows Nocturne to fade into the shadows, creating a magical barrier which blocks a single enemy ability and doubles his passive attack speed if successful.
Unspeakable Horror - Nocturne plants a nightmare into his target's mind, dealing damage each second and fearing the target if they do not get out of range by the end of the duration.
Paranoia - Nocturne reduces the sight radius of all enemy champions and removes their ally vision in the process. He can then launch himself at a nearby enemy champion.

Max your Duskbringer first because it will do the most amount of damage as well as let you secure a kill or let you win one.
Then you want to max your Unspeakable Horror next so you can have a long two seconds of advantage on your opponent.
Last you want to max your Shroud of Darkness because, while it does have a attack speed buff, your other moves are better.
Of course you want to get a point in Paranoia whenever you can because its your ultimate. (derp)
Smite- Come on, your jungling. If u asked why, you are ******ed and should not play this game ever again.
Clairvoyance- Unlike Rengar's Thrill of the Hunt, Nocturne's Paranoia does not reveal enemies. Clairvoyance is for that guy just out of vision.
Other acceptable summoner spells are:
Flash High mobility and help ganks. In team fights, you get focus a lot and this will help you get out of it.

First off, 7 items? I know, sell your Wriggle's Lantern to buy another item! (Probably should be Madred's Bloodrazor)
sight ward- If there is one thing iv'e learned from watching the champions play, its wards = win! (read ward section below for help)
Cloth Armor- I usually get Cloth Armor on squishy junglers or solo tops. Helps you stay alive longer.
Wriggle's Lantern- Everything you need in a jungeler, AD, lifesteal, and an extra ward.
Mercury's Treads- Magic Resist + tenacity? I'm sold. (if there are little to no AP or you are being shredded by the AD carry, buy Ninja Tabi instead. Or if you just want to shred, u can go Berserker's Greaves)
Madred's Bloodrazor- Helps shred your foe's hp.
Frozen Mallet- Slow = you are dead. Nothing left to say.
Bloodthirster- Great AD bonus and great lifesteal
Infinity Edge- Great AD bonus
Phantom Dancer- Great attack speed and movement speed
Other acceptable items are:
Boots - helps you gank better
Health Potion - you need this for sustain

I take points in Brute Force , Alacrity , Deadliness , Weapon Expertise , Sunder , and Executioner to maximize my damage.
I take points in Butcher , Tough Skin , Summoner's Resolve , Vigor , Hardiness , and Vampirism to keep me alive and quicken my clear time in the jungle.
Runes
I get armor penetration because it causes you to deal much more damage. It reduces the targets armor (no sheet Sherlock) and can cause you to win LOTS more duels.
My seals and glyphs are to help me stay alive in the jungle and in team fights longer.
Other acceptable runes are:
Runes
These help you stay alive longer in the jungle and beginning game. Not extreemely good late game though. :P
Since sight wards are "so hard to use", i feel i should put a new segment for them.
Q:When do i put them? A:After a gank or to ward your buffs.
Q:Where do i put them? A:In the river or a buff.
Q:Which kind should i buy? A:It depends. if they have a stealth character like Evelynn or Twitch, buy Vision Ward. If not, buy sight ward. If you know or suspect the enemy team has wards, buy Vision Ward. (keep in mind you can always buy more than i suggest)
Here is a picture of where to place some wards

- Yellow: Vital to protect the jungler on your team
- Blue: For protection depending on which lane you're on
- Red: To guard Dragon and Baron
- Orange: In order to Counter-Jungle
Sorry for no pictures, get off my freaking back!
Before we start, be sure to remember to take a potion if you are low when fighting the jungle creeps or walking to the next camp. Start at blue buff with a leash while making sure to smite the golem at 445 (gets you more moneys) then go to the wolf camp. Kill the wolves then the wraiths. Go to the double golems, saving your smite for the lizard elder. Now you can gank. Ask yourself these questions.
Are any of my lanes being pushed or harassed badly?
Can any lane benefit from a gank?
If you said yes on any of these, gank! Even if u said no to all of them, just gank and win your team some money! Or u can counter jungle, jungle more, or go back to buy your boots. (Note that u should only go back if you can buy your boots.)
