Abilities

Each of Warwick's attacks will heal him for 6 Health. The amount restored increases by 6 at levels 7 and 13. Each successive attack against the same target will restore increasing amounts of health to Warwick.

Pretty self-explanatory. Every hit that you get in will heal you for a 6 point and this will stack on your target three times giving you more life steal. At level 6, 7 and 13 this vamp is increased.

Takes a bite out of enemy unit for damage and heals Warwick.
Strikes an enemy for the greater value between 75/125/175/225/275 (+1) and 8/11/14/17/20% of the target's maximum health (can only do flat damage to monsters), and heals Warwick for 80% of the damage dealt.

This ability is really good and taking huge chunks of health away from opponents. When this ability is level 5 he takes the greater of two values either 20% of your opponents health or 275 of their health and heals himself for 80% of that amount. For example if your opponent has 1000 health and you use this on them it will take 275 health rather than 20% which is 200 health and heal himself for 80% of it.

Warwick lets out a howl, increasing all nearby friendly champions' attack speed for a short time.
Warwick lets out a howl that inspires all nearby allied champions. This increases Warwick's attack speed by 40/50/60/70/80% and all nearby friendly champions' attack speed by half of that for 10 seconds.

This is Warwick's bread and butter. This ability speeds up your attacks and your teammates by half. This is how you get neutral monsters down quicker and maximize your health steal.

Warwick passively senses weakened enemy champions around him. The scent of blood sends him into a fury, causing him to move at incredible speeds.
Toggle: Warwick senses enemy champions under 50% life within 1500/2300/3100/3900/4700 distance of him; while he detects a low-health enemy, he gains 20/25/30/35/40% Movement Speed.

This is one of the best abilities to chase down people. When there are enemies with low or no health. This is really good when there are people with ghost and flash.

Warwick lunges at an enemy Champion, suppressing his target and dealing damage for a few seconds.
Warwick lunges at an enemy Champion, suppressing his target for 1.7 seconds. While they are suppressed, Warwick quickly strikes the target 5 times for 33% of his attack damage plus 40/60/80. Warwick gains an additional 30% lifesteal while performing Infinite Duress.

Warwick is extremely good at picking single targets off as shown by his ultimate. Warwick's ultimate hits the target 5 times for 33% of your AD plus 80 (at level 18). It will also suppress your target making them unable to use abilities for the duration.

Items

CORE BUILD

Warwick need's to be really fast in order to life steal people. This is most likely the best choice for an AD Warwick.

Madred's Bloodrazor is the core item for Warwick. Attack speed will give you more life steal, Attack damage will give you more nuke ability and armor will stop any dps' hitting you down in one shot. Also its passive is extremely good at taking down tanky char's like Malphite or Singed.

Move speed, crit chance and attack speed. What's not to love?

CHOICES
Depending on the situation you might want to change your last 3 item's.
Recommended
Possibility
Not Recommended

Bloodthirster
The more life steal the better I always say!! This is great for Warwick because it ups his life steal and armor penetration. Plus it's passive stacks so you can get multiple just for the hell of it!

The Black Cleaver
A perfect item if there really REALLY tanky chars loaded with armor. This items shreds the armor off them giving you a chance to hit em where it hurts!

Last whisper
Another great item for armor penetration. Good against tanks.

Wit's end
An ok item if you want to tear down people JUST with you're ult. Otherwise useless for an ad Warwick.

Malady
A good item if you wanna kill people with you're ult but not needed for an ad Warwick.

Infinity edge
Not a totally bad item. The passive is good and I like the damage output BUT a bloodthirster would work just as good and give you life steal. Up to you, really.

Cloak and Dagger
Not a bad item. Cheap and does the job well. This item is a maybe.

Guinsoo's Rageblade
Completely useless for an ad Warwick. The only thing this would help with is you're hungering strike.

Chalice Of Harmony
Waste of time. Warwick doesn't need any many regen or Magic Resistance.

Mejai's Soulstealer
Another useless item. Warwick isnt magic based so there is no need to have this.

Jungle route 1 and play style

For some reason people think that Warwick's abilities are magic based. This is not the case. Warwick's passive is life steal and this is how you should build him. First off start with one Cloth Armor and 5 Health Potions. Select Hunters call as your first ability then go to the Blue buff aka Golem. Initiate by using smite and ignite on the Golem then picking off the adds. if you get a bit low pop a health potion and you should be alright. To maximize damage hit him twice with basic attacks then use hunters call to finish him off. After he is dead you should now be regenerating health and mana over time and this lets you stay in the jungle for longer. Get Hungering Strike and then take out the wolves. Do exactly the same as you did last time. Start by hitting the main wolf twice with basic attacks then use hunters call. If you get low during the battle use your hungering strike. You shouldn't need another health potion but if you do use one you have enough. After this you're going to hit the wraith camp. Again hit the main wraith two times then use hunters call. Around this time you should nearly or already be level three. Put one point in Blood scent. It is not essential but it does help with chasing people down. Next hit the twin Golems. If you have smite save it for the next fight but other than that do the usual two hits then hunters call. If your feeling lucky and extremely brave run into the enemy jungle and take there blue buff. Use smite to initiate then drop ignite if possible. Do two hits and use hunters call to maximize health steal. Go back to your jungle and hit red buff then recall. at this point you should have enough money to get Madred's Razors and possible Boots of Speed or Dagger. Continue jungling and at about level 6 go for dragon. Start by using smite and ignite on him. Hit him twice then use hunters call to get some speed. Use hungering strike as much as possible to make sure you have enough health to take him on. If this is your first time soloing dragon and your not 100% sure you'll get him ask for a teammate to help you get him down quicker. Once your ready go back and get Recurve bow and Vampiric Scepter. If you have enough money go straight for your Madred's bloodrazor. Now you are ready to start getting some kills. Look for people who have low or no health and ping them. Get your team to distract then drop your Infinite Duress. As soon as you can get red and blue buff again unless they are both still on you. Continue with your jungle route until level 13 then continue ganking and helping with team fights. From this point on its really your choice. Continue ganking or initiating depending on what you feel like.

Jungle route 2

If you are finding the first route too hard then try this route. The play style is EXACTLY the same, the techniques are the same and the items are the same. First go to double Golems. Drop smite and start attacking. After two basic attacks use hunters call. After this go to the wolves and attack the big wolf. Drop hunters call after two hits then make you're way to the wraith camp. Same as the wolves, attack the big wraith then after two hits drop hunter call. Hungering strike if you need health but try to conserve mana. After this go to the blue buff and attack the big Golem. After two hits drop hunters call and smite. If you are an experienced jungler then you may want to go and kill the opposing teams blue buff and wolves but ONLY if you are experienced. If not then go get red buff go back to base and repeat until around level 8 then gank.

Recent Warwick nerf

Because of lanewick, a recently popular play style Riot has decided to nerf his health intake on his hungering strike. This should NOT be an issue but if you find it is then try out my alternate route. You should be able to take this on.
