The items I picked are very good for aatrox, and make him even more powerful and trolly than he really is. The Guardian Angel is there in case your a Blood Price doesn't work. It also gives you armor which is useful on aatrox, because he is a fighter champion. The ravenous hydra and bloodthirster are just there for the usual damage, lifesteal, and wonderful passives. The Hextech Gunblade enhances AP and AD. This is useful because aatrox has his E as an AP attack, but the rest are Ad. The frozen mallet gives aatrox a bit of tankiness, which he needs, while the Stattik Shiv gives attack speed, movement speed, crit chance, and a beautiful passive. These items make aatrox extremely powerful and I highly recommend this combo.

Basically, your Q is made to engage a battle or to finish a running champion. Your W is an in-battle attack to be used very often. Your E is a poke attack or an attack that can slow a running enemy champion. Your R is one of the most powerful ults in the game and makes you have more attack damage than anybody in the game, allowing you to take on several enemies or finish off a very strong enemy who has lots of lifesteal.

If you want to look like an absolute boss get the Justicar Aatrox skin ;). I do not use runes or masteries often so that will not be a chapter.

I use barrier to shield aatrox in fights that may seem unfair, especially at low health. Flash is possibly the most common spell used simply because you can flash in and out of most situations.
