Who I am
First of all, I would like to apologize the mistakes I can make in English. Do not hesitate to tell me if you notice some. The reason for it is that it simply is not my birth language, so please, stay leniant :)
I'm a bit excited, as it is my very first guide on League of Legends, and I can still remember the first time I used one, not even being level 30, in order to improve in game. One year later, here am I, Nogavis, currently Gold IV, trying to share some of my experience through this guide.
Yes, Gold. A question you may ask is : why would I follow this guide over the one of a pro player. My answer is simple : that's up to you !
I've written this, now it's your turn to work : read it, at least as long as you find it interesting, and do not hesitate to leave a comment, positive or negative, as long as you explain your point of view.
I've been playing Yasuo almost since he has been released, and he probably became one of the champions I've played the most often since then. But the way I like to play him might differ from what you can see most of the time. Once more, up to you to consider which part can fit your playstyle, and which part doesn't.
But let's get to the very guide. I am in no way saying this guide is THE ultimate guide which will allow you to carry through soloqueue. Neither will I say it's the most mechanical and strategic. I do not have those pretentions. I only aim at sharing the way I DO play this champion. And that's really all ;) Maybe some of the things you're going to read won't look legit for you. But here is what I would recommand if you wanna comment upon it : try it. Perhaps you will find unexpected things with your champion. Perhaps you will really think I'm ******ed. But that's also part of the game : finding your own type of playing. In my opinion, the best players are not those who copy what was done before, but those who tried new things and performed well with them (and again, I am of course not saying I am one of the best players, just one trying new things, so far =) )

- Greater Quintessence of Life Steal x2
- Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage x1
- Greater Mark of Attack Damage
- Greater Glyph of Magic Resist
- Greater Seal of Armor
Nothing extraordinary here. The Quintessences of Life Steal helps sustain as I tend to build LS quite lately, and I find it helpful to regen a bit upon autoattacking or using Steel Tempest when someone procs your passive or you aren't under harass. The rest is pretty basical. Feel free to get a few marks or crit chance in order to reach 100% if that's what you like, or to get scaling magic resist instead of flat if you are against an AD and have enough IP for getting both rune pages (which I don't :D)
If you really wanna copy me, take two or three scaling for each category (AD, armor and MR), but that's something very personal, and more about psychology (and lack of IP) than about any real strategic stuff. Yeah, here is one of the things about me I would consider not that legit.
For now, I will just explain the full build. Later I'll tell more about those choices, I will give a starter, an item path, the items I DO NOT get and even add some situational items. Please be patient ;)

- Statikk Shiv The trademark of our wind master ronin. He does benefit from everything on this item, AS, crit chances (giving him 40% with 2500 gold, not bad, uh ?), and the passive fits him so well, allowing you to poke your opponent in lane from afar, can easily crit thanks to your doubled crit chances, and is up very often because of your mobility. Yasuo players can debate about many other items, but any of them would agree that this item is a must have.
- Infinity Edge
