This guide/build is centered on being DEADLY with Riftwalk each third sec available and theKaSSaSSnation skill/item combo (which is a sequence of abilities combined with active and passive abilities of items,BETWEEN 2 Riftwalk IN 3 SECS that can instantly and almost unavoidable kill an enemy champion)

GIVE A GOOD READ AT steps 5 and 6 which explain the whole idea

No matter what give a try to understand the methods behind the madness for a so unique champion as Kassadin is.Due to the randomness he creates Kassadin can be a FAIL or EPIC in a game and most of the times this is under your control how to deal with it...

Kassadin is a very powerful BUT vulnerable champion, so you have to balance between AP boost and endurance.This setup will keep your maintenance in early game,no matter if you have to deal with an AP or AD mid opponent..and this is what you want before reaching 6 lvl.MAINTENANCE!
My rune page is focused on AP boost with HYBRID penetration,magic and physical endurance and a 5% CDR at lvl 18 for shorten even more the Riftwalk at late game.
As for masteries i go for 9 points in defense for a nice early game extra toughness and endurance.In offence 21 points spent in all AP masteries.

EVERY ASSASSIN NEEDS Heal!!!!!!!! and NOOOOOOOOOOOO...you are not noob picking Heal! you are PRO assassin!!! i mean, come on guys...dont you see movies?!?!?!? all assassin characters have tools of healing when in bad situations so they can try to strike again after healing OR to escape back.So PLZ DO NOT PLAY Kassadin WITHOUT Heal while trying this guide! Do not pass away the fact that Heal in crucial timing in early teamfight can save you AND your allies!

The second pick is ofc Ignite because its a crucial part of KaSSaSSination combo.

*sry guys but about the Heal i am OBSOLETE!!! Flash+ Kassadin with Riftwalk each third second is FAIL .- :P although Flash+ Riftwalk is one of the most impressive moves of the game! :D

Ionian Boots of Lucidity+ Deathfire Grasp+ Lich Bane is the main core of the skill/item combo KaSSaSSination! This item setup will give u...
(with runes n masteries) approx. max CDR%,+180AP,extra Mana,extra movement speed,a deadly active opener and a deadly passive finisher!!!
After completing the KaSSaSSination setup (about 14 lvl) go for Haunting Guise for hitting harder and for some extra health and upgrade it to Liandry's Torment which i found it a super cool new obsolete item for AP casters!!!
If game goes well and no surr for any team, in late game buy an Abyssal Mask for extra magic resistance and magic penetration that you lack from not wearing the Sorcerer's Shoes and finish your build with the almighty and classic Rabadon's Deathcap.

At 3 first lvls you get the skills in the exact sequence! Simple as 1,2,3 Q,W,E! Null Sphere
Nether Blade Force Pulse.At 4 lvl get Nether Blade to increase at early game the mana regeneration you need and at 5 lvl get another rank at Null Sphere.From now on get ranks on Force Pulse and Null Sphere because that skills are you main damage output.Ofc get the Riftwalk at 6,11 and 16 lvl (and not at 18 :P) and leave for last skill Nether Blade to use it with Lich Bane at late game.

Kassadin imo has the best instakill combo in the game!!! and this is what i call...

KaSSaSSination

Deathfire Grasp+ Riftwalk+ Null Sphere+ Force Pulse+ Nether Blade+ Lich Bane Spellsword auto attack = Terrify :D If your victim is not dead yet and is tough enough proceed with Ignite+ Riftwalk+ Lich Bane Spellsword auto attack = KILL
This combo can bring down even a tough tank with low magic resistance...as for an AP enemy caster this is devastating! Pure Void Madness for 3 secs!!! With max CDR% Riftwalk each third second so in most times your victims wont escape you even if they Flash you! IN FACT if they Flash you the final Riftwalk you cast for catching them is MORE deadly than the first one! I often cast the final Riftwalk for a turret dive or to escape from incoming enemies after finishing my victim. I found a MUST AND very useful item on Kassadin the Deathfire Grasp for a nice initiation of the combo while ganking (especially full hp enemies) and Lich Bane for finisher move with a deadly boost to your Nether Blade auto attack.
Believe me that in most times your combo will end up with your Lich Bane Nether Blade Spellsword auto attack and the reason why is that Kassadin YES Kassadin has naturally one of the highest AD of the game!!!( i think top 3!) 122 natural AD at lvl 18 is something that few people notice on him!! Your one and only cut throwing last auto attack can deal about 900dmg! Keep in mind also that all this ability combo sequence happens under high magic reduction conditions and extra magic dmg on each ability from the Liandry's Torment Abyssal Mask Deathfire Grasp setup!!!

*VERY USEFUL TIP 1: Try to master this combo playing with bots for practice until you can deal it with one smooth move...something like a mortal combat fatality CLICKCLICKCLICKCLICK :D. In 3 secs you should be able to deal KaSSaSSination combo for about a 2000-3000 unavoidable dmg!!!
*VERY USEFUL TIP 2 Assign Deathfire Grasp to SPACE BUTTTON! DO NOT FORGET TO CAST IT! IT S AN EXTRA ABILITY AND THE OPENER OF THE COMBO

Kassadin is Riftwalk and that is a RULE! And that is the main reason why he is banned at many ranked games of all elos.It s not hard to understand that this champion has the ultimate ultimate!!! A high and scaling damage Flash every 3 secs!!! (with -40% CDR ;) ) No comments..!
So what about before lvl 6!? You start the game buying Boots a Mana Potion and 2 Health Potion and you go MID.If you have an AP caster in mid then harass him with Null Sphere and try to farm effectively with Nether Blade.If you have an AD carry like Ashe then maybe you will face some problems.DEF and ask help for a gank.DO NOT try for a kill before 6 lvl unless it is a free kill.Play defensively and dont go far away your turret.Save your health and mana to execute (when he is under 50% health) your mid opponent with Riftwalk+ Null Sphere+ Force Pulse+ Ignite.DO NOT DIE BEFORE 6 LVL! DEF and harass your opponent.
Try to build ASAP the KaSSaSSination item setup.You should have around 10-11lvl Ionian Boots of Lucidity+ Enchantment: Furor and Deathfire Grasp.Proceed with Lich Bane.When your KaSSaSSination setup is complete your job is to roam and kill isolated enemies OR help your teammates in ganks.Get blue in any opportunity. DO NOT STAY IN A LANE FOR TOO LONG! Force Pulse+ Riftwalk for instant sweeping a massive minion wave..and SEEK AND DESTROY! ;)
In team fights stay close to the tank but in some safe distance,and just wait to charge Force Pulse and HIT n RUN with Riftwalk+ Null Sphere+ Force Pulse and go back again.Also you can Riftwalk and Heal your allies on crucial timing! Your teammates will LOVE you for this!!! DO NOT STAY FOR TOO LONG IN TEAM FIGHTS. Kill n Run! Get assissts!

This is my first try making a build and i wanted to share this with the community :) I am just an enthousiast and not in any means a PRO player!!! I wanted to make a build clear,easy and short for a new player to Kassadin.I hope you get something from this and you enjoyed it by TRYING IT and not just by reading it.
