But for the build itself, I share some of the doubts that B-Wong expresses. The fact is, as a mid champion, you don't always have the luxury of grabbing that Needlessly Large Rod right off the bat. If you're that reliable of a mid player that you get that Rod every game after your Doran's Shield, well, good for you. But as a guide meant for the community, most players cannot and will not have the skill level needed to farm all of early game for that Rod.
In addition, getting the Rod may not always be to your advantage - as B-Wong says, you are sacrificing the early-game ganks you could get by going standard Sorcerer's Shoes when you recall and rushing to a lane.
Also, getting both Abyssal Scepter and Void Staff is a little counter-productive as Void Staff will not be operating well at all. Essentially, unless they have over 200 magic resist, it doesn't really pay off to get both a Void Staff and a Scepter, especially not that early.
But other than that, it's an extremely solid build with a very in-depth guide to back it up. I +1'd this, but it still could use some work regardless.
I can actually sit in my lane harassing and last hitting for a good maybe 15 minutes before I decide to teleport back and get my large rod + boots. Doesn't seem like you have much for 15 mins, but it's actually a good start and it's worth it.
As far as CC goes, you have to sort of surprise your opponent. Randomly hitting him with TS and working yourself into the skill rotation will actually kill him before he gets out of the second stun. This would be why I don't need Rylai's until after my MPen items.
Yes but in those 15 minutes, where you probably should be reaching level 6, you could get a gank for your team. It's pretty back and forth but I just think the early money can be spent better.
That is incredibly expensive, I know Kennen gets a lot of last hits easy but early game rushing a Large rod? I'd rather go for boots or Rylai's because you don't have any CC apart from trying to get your stun off. When cooldowns hit it's just sort of like "Well.. ****"
I like the format but the build seems way too slow to get started to me.

The ridiculous m-pen definitely helps, but sometimes it can be too much. The best choice (especially if the other team has AP) would be to get and then rush , unless of course they are no threat. The point is that you need the early speed and CC to be an effective Kennen.
Good items and obviously time well spent, but I can't give you a vote yet.
