MUST READ

Keep in mind, this build guide is still a work in progress, and will be updated every patch or significant meta change. I will be adding chapters to increase the depth of this guide, and to provide more insight on Kled in general. I have already gotten multiple S grades, on the first day of Kled's release, using this build. I hope this guides you in building you're perfect Kled, and aids you in getting better.

Abilities

Skaarl, the Cowardly Lizard (Passive)

Kled rides his trusty steed, Skaarl, who takes damage for him. When Skaarl's health depletes, Kled dismounts.
While dismounted, Kled's abilities change and he deals less damage. Kled can restore Skaarl's courage by fighting enemies. At maximum courage, Kled remounts with a portion of Skaarl's health.
MOUNTED – INNATE: Kled's health cannot be improved except through growth, instead Skaarl has 400 - 1505 (based on level) (+ 100% bonus health) maximum health and, while together, all damage dealt to the duo is suffered by Skaarl. Upon being reduced to 0 maximum health, Skaarl flees the battle. While being dismounted, Kled is briefly untargetable and any damage in excess of Skaarl's current health is ignored.
DISMOUNTED – INNATE: Kled gains 125 bonus attack range and 105 - 190 (based on level) bonus movement speed while moving towards enemy champions, but his base movement speed is reduced to 285 and his basic attacks deal 80% AD. Additionally, Kled's gains the ability to restore Skaarl's Courage, which is displayed in Kled's resource bar.
4 / 20 Courage is gained by killing enemy units and 5 / 15 for attacking structures, champions and epic monsters. At 100 Courage, Skaarl returns to the fight after a short delay with 50 / 60 / 70 / 80% health. recall Returning to base fully restores his health. If reuniting outside of their base, Skaarl is temporarily afflicted by Frayed Nerves and cannot gain Courage for a brief period.
Kled's passive is Skaarl the Cowardly Lizard. In simple terms, you get to ride Skaarl until his health bar is depleted. Both of you have individual health bars, and when Skaarl runs away, your health bar is the one getting attacked. When he runs, you lose a massive amount of speed, and a bit of AD, but you have longer range on your auto attacks, as well as changes your Q, and disables you from using your E and your ult. Let's just say, if Skaarl wasn't such a coward, you would probably have zero deaths in your eternity of playing Kled.

Bear Trap on a Rope (Mounted Q)

Kled throws a bear trap that damages and hooks an enemy champion. If shackled for a short duration, the target takes additional physical damage and is yanked toward Kled.
Kled throws a bear trap that deals 50/100/150/200/250 (+60% bonus Attack Damage) physical damage and hooks onto the first enemy champion or epic monster hit. Deals 150% damage to minions passed through. If Kled stays near a hooked enemy for 1.75 seconds, he deals 50/100/150/200/250 (+60% bonus Attack Damage) physical damage, yanks the enemy toward him, and slows the enemy by 40/45/50/55/60% for 1.5 seconds.

Items

Items are always tricky to choose for a champion, because there are so many options that are compatible with different types of play styles, but there really isn't much to say about starting out. Doran's Blade is a must as this will aid you early game, giving you lots of sustain, as well has a good amount of AD for early trades and wave clearing. With the money you have left, you can buy one health potion for emergencies. If you want to save a bit of money, or think you are going to get bullied early game, then you should consider getting Long Sword, as this will give you more AD, as well as costs less, which will enable you to spend more money on health pots. This item combo is great against ranged opponents who are great early game.

On your first back, I usually go for Phage (builds into The Black Cleaver) and some health pots, as I like to have that bonus health early on, to ensure my survival, as well as providing a good amount of AD. If you are more confident in yourself, then you should go with something that provides more AD, such as Warhammer, as it still builds into your first item, The Black Cleaver. If you want to be a lil' rebel, you can build Tiamat for Ravenous or Titanic Hydra. If you have any money left over, you should buy boots, as speed is always better, especially when Skaarl runs away!

Throughout the game, you should build any of the following items (excluding boots):
The Black Cleaver, Ravenous Hydra/Titanic Hydra (depends on if you need bonus health), Death's Dance/Bloodthirster (completely up to you, Bloodthirster is more straight forward about life steal, as well as provides a shield, so use this if you are in a melee situation), and finally, choose a number of health items, such as Guardian Angel, Dead Man's, Spirit Vissage, and more, although I wouldn't recommend Titanic Hydra if you are building more than 1 or 2 tank items.

Looks

Although Kled is a furry midget that looks like a shaggy grandpapi Yordle, which he probably is, he looks pretty cool and lives up to his splash art. His animations are awesome, from his abilities to insanely hilarious and annoying taunts, and don't get me started on his awesome catch phrases and generally sassy attitude.
I give Kled a 9.7423/10 for looks.

Gameplay

Kled's gameplay is awesome. Well, if you're riding Skaarl that is. He is fast, has insane damage output, and can easily build tank. He can play almost any role, and can adapt to any situation.
I put Kled's gameplay at an easy 9/10, for the one playing him of course!

My Overall Enjoyment

Kled has only been out for a few days, but I have already fallen in love. I feel as though Kled was a champion built for me. Indestructible, reckless and needs no mana, insanely high damage, sucks to play against. I love him. Riot did a great job with this little guy, and i rate him a 100/10. **** you Gangplank.
