Introduction

Please read the whole guide and comment: This is a Build for Lee Sin the Blind Monk. He is a Tanky DPS/assassin type champion that excels at finishing off opponents. If you want to play Lee Sin you have to be able to spend the time learning all his tricks and skills. For those of you who dont want to play a week of Lee Sin to learn him turn away now. For those of you who already play him thank you for checking out the build. I guarantee you will get first blood.

armor pen because all his damage is physical.

I feel lee sin doesnt have enough base attack speed early or late game. This is very helpful cause then you can focus more on damage and survivability.

These runes help when laning against a mage and almost every ult does magic damage. This pairs well with his 8 def masteries for early game survival.

Skills

Q- sonic wave / resonating strike is Lee Sin's bread and butter. It's what makes Lee sin, Lee Sin. Its a skill shot and a dash in one move and makes your opponent visible so he cant hide. The dash can only be activated if the skill shot hits a target the you dash to that target doing percent damage. Which is extremely helpful against any champion. This skill is great for chasing and makes first blood easy when combined with exhaust .

W- SAFEGUARD / IRON WILL This skill has a variety of uses as well. It can be used to dash to teammates, wards, minions, and even teemo shrooms. This makes escaping the enemy very easy. It also makes it a good combo with Q dash, dash to an opponent and dash to safety. The second part of this skill is just some stat boosts.

E- TEMPEST / CRIPPLE This makes enemies escaping impossible. Its an aoe damage slow. It used to be good for minion farming but the double E glitch no longer works.

R- DRAGON'S RAGE is Lee Sin's Ult. Its a knock back knock up combo attack. It can get pretty glitchy sometimes but is great for finishing off the last chunk of someones health. Also works well with a q-w-r-q combo.

Summoner Spells

Ghost - I think anyone who is going to play Lee Sin knows what ghost is. It is a great chase spell but an even better escape spell. Saves my *** all the time. Damn minions are always getting in my way.

Exhaust - I chose this over any other spell because it makes sense on Lee sin. The skill Slows by 40% and reduces defense. What more could you ask for? This spell and his Q skill make for an easy first blood.

Early game

I start off every game 3v3 or 5v5 with a its a great starting item giving both health and survivability in lane. After getting first blood I head back for my boots . If I didnt get first blood I farm minions with either my melee attacks or my Q spell . I never dash on my Q to kill a minion that usually causes you to over extend and take damage from a ranged champion or get cc'd. As soon as I get the money for it I go back and get . Those 3 items is what I focus on for early game. If I am fed i can pick up my Merc Treads for tenacity and Magic Resist. During early game always target their squishy with your Q . You never know when that dash combined with exhaust can kill someone.

Mid game

If you haven't already bought Merc Treds buy them now. Their Tenacity is extremely helpful for Lee Sin because as he gets more kills more people will want to cc him. Now is the time where the other team comes into play. If you are having no trouble at all with the other team and no one fed on your team use the recommended build, but if there is someone fed on the other team upgrade to and build a defensive item. Either Banshees Veil for Magic Resist and its anti-cc or Thornmail to counter high damage melee dps champions. In the normal build I recommend BF sword before Frost Mallet because it gives you that vital damage.

Late game

Late game is really just completing your Bloodthirster ,Last whisper is an optional item for if you need more armor pen, the and grabbing either Guardian Angel (recommended first) or Phantom Dancer . During this time its not your job to start team fights. You wait for your team to start fighting then dash in. either to a squishy or to shield your tank. Then use your Ult to kick an enemy, any who isn't the enemy tank towards your allies. If you pull that off its a kill for your team.

Lane Partners

There are certain people you want to lane with as Lee Sin and others you don't.
You want any tanky champion that can absorb damage for you. The perfect example of this is Singed because his throw makes them easier to get to and works really well with Lee Sin.
Lee Sin also Lanes well with someone who can farm minions so you don't get pushed back to your tower. Only because Purple side makes lee sin useless when hes pushed to the tower. Any support with a solid heal can be a good laning partner with lee sin.

Lane Against

You want to lane against other Melee champions cause early game lee sin is the best melee DPS. Nocturne has nothing on Lee Sin. You most definitely want to lane against Akali because she cant stealth against you. If you have to just run into her shroud and pop your E spell now shes visible and slow.

Champions lee sin is useless against:
Fiddlesticks
AP Shaco
Alistar

as i play more games ill update the list.
