Cheatsheet: 20/20
10/10 item picks + structure
Seems fine

10/10 the rest
This as well

Structure + coding: 8/15
4/10 uses of overviews, schemes and other uses of structure
Its good enough, however:
- Matchups and synergy sections look way too long. I'd put in a custom table of contents for that or use columns for that section.
- Put the first set summoner spells that are vertical, to a horizontal position instead.
- The glyphs names are a bit messy next to the icons of the same glyphs. Use columns for it or find another way.
- Put the item section behind the starting item section. The chapter difference between those two is just silly.

4/5 uses of coding
Its fine, but can be better.

Content: 47/50
25/25 Full Build Quality Explanation
- All basics included
- Seems very complete

17/20 Tactical Quality Explanation
- Basics included
- More about warding is welcome

5/5 Quantity content
Plenty

Bonus: 11/15
5/5 bonus chapters (matchups and synergy chapters)
Yep

1/5 Originality
Nope

5/5 attitude towards the readers (wants to improve)
Yep

0/0 Comment to vote
Yep

Result: Path of the Successor (86/100)
Coding can be way better, and that it :p

The rest is great, you are close to the path of the saint, so good luck and have fun! :D

Thanks for your comment, divic!
I'm not one to force other people to do what I do, since I realise that a guide is just a particular person's way of playing a champion that they have had success with, and if you have success with your way of playing, then I give you all the power in the world to you!

Yea I think Zeke's is ok on Lulu, I don't buy it that often though.

Thresh is just hard in general, I think, because you can never rely on your ADC's ability to dodge hooks (this is the same with blitzcrank, I suppose.) But I agree you can out harass thresh, it's just he is quite hard to deal with.

Nice guide, keep on rollin'. I was only wondering that which ability man really should max as a second ability. mmh. I have been always maxing Q first and then E. Now I was just scrolling through the builds and recognized that most people max Q first and then W. mmh. I knew that my 0/30/0 runes are extraordinary but I didn't expect that my ability-sequence was that odd. Never gonna change my style though. :D

edit: my experience from Lulu is rather ******ed (1st game ever with lulu was on plat/dia ranked team, didn't even know skills before that, went legendary and then on soloQ with lulu and so on) but I still have to disagree with Vyn's comment regarding your situational items and specially Zeke's Herald. OK. Morellonicon is good. But imo Lulu is one of those champs which can truly utilize full power of Zeke's. Usually Lulu's team is pretty heavy ad. Synergy between Lulu's skillset and usual team compositions, used with it for greater synergy, is just perfect.

edit2: and i was surprised that you ranked thresh as a hardest opponent. Honestly, I thought it's the easiest one, never lost a game against it. He has just nothing to win you with. You can completely outshine him. His ulti has too narrow range, a lot worse than your harrashing range. If you can dodge the hooks (should be rather easy task since you are really fast even without boots) he can do nothing to you and you just harrash him to the death. (Oh, and that's why I like banning all other common sups, picking lulu and leaving thresh free to pick. Enemies WILL pick it and it's instawin on a bot-lane.)

Thank you very much for all your feedback Bioalchemist :)
Think I'm going to have to reconsider my level 1 skill since so many people are saying take Glitterlance...I think people should still try taking Help, Pix! at level 1, though.

can't see much wrong with this guide. nothing glaring anyways. i run things slightly different but nearly the same. you should try maxing e first though, let me know what you think. i have found it to be more effective for me. q start is the way to go. i agree with joxuu about ruby but i don't think you said to rush it. ruby sightstone is a luxury not a requirement i usually will get it last OR if i am forced to back and it fits right at the time.

also you have randuins in your example build and in your item build lower in guide but not in core or luxury. that is a bit confusing.

all in all i am impressed. well done. turn C2V on.

The thing I find with Lulu is that she has a speed boost in her kit and usually you can get by if you only speed up one person; the initiator. Also, I did write about why I prefer Frost Queen's Claim in one of the chapters in the guide :P
It is certainly a good path to sell Frostfang and then buy talisman of ascension but the active from Frost Queen's Claim is just as useful, I find.

Why getting Frost Queen's Claim over talisman of ascension ? I'd definitly star Spellthief's Edge, then getting Frostfang but selling it later for talisman of ascension later on. I find a team speed boost more useful than a slow.

I disagree. Since it gives more HP now it's a quite good purchase.

Hi there, the review (it's a bit short because I'm short on time as well, but if you need more explanations you can PM me and I'll elaborate)
  • 0/13/17 masteries are suboptimal to 4/5/21, 9/0/21 or 0/9/21.
  • Q start gives you more potential at level 1
  • I don't like getting Chalice of Harmony early on.
  • Core items section looks a little bit messy. Personally, I'd never go with coin on lulu and just remove it.
  • A lot of the situational items aren't really viable on support lulu. I would never go with zeke's, abyssal or twin shadows, and the stompfest items are meh as well. Morellonomicon is the best AP item for supports.
  • You could make the coding look a bit more clean.
  • Also, remove the spell descriptions because people can hover over the icons to get the description already.

Emikadon I love you for putting so much thought into what I wrote and thank you so much for commenting! I do agree with both of your points with starting with Glitterlance and I might reconsider taking Help, Pix! first.

You are right about the spirit visage- will change that.
Also you are right about the polymorph thing, will change that too
Spacing in starting items bothers me too..goddamm it I suck with computers but I will try to fix it now ;)

Again thank you so much, Lulu mains are the best people :))

Really nice job on your guide! I main Lulu as a support, and I play her as an ADC or APC every now and then for fun. A few things though:

I personally prefer starting Glitterlance for 2 main reasons. One, it's good for checking suspicious bushes. It makes a distinct sound when it hits something, and its long range allows you to safely check bushes without any fear of being engaged upon. I find this is most useful when going against junglers with incredible early game potential, and thus might try to invade with their team mates. This also leads me to my second reason. While Help, Pix! is a targeted ability, and therefore unable to miss, Glitterlance in contrast is AOE, has a slow, and deals more damage (in total. Base damage is the same; however, Q is AOE). The slow makes it really easy to turn a bad trade into a good one because it keeps the enemy in range for a few autoattacks as well.

The spacing in your "Starting Items" is really bothering me :( Make the invisible text with the "ooo" the same for each one. This way, it should even itself out.

Please don't get Spirit Visage :( I've seen too many Lulus falling into this trap! Although it gives CDR, Health, and MR, the passive is completely wasted and thus, an inefficient gold source. If you really need a lot of MR, I would recommend Twin Shadows or Abyssal Mask. Both have good actives/auras that benefit the team as a whole, while providing a good chunk of MR. Plus, both give AP, which will provide more Shield strength, as well as more maximum health from your ult. This actually leads me to my second part of my argument. The passive on Spirit Visage is completely and utterly wasted on Lulu. It increases (specifically) Life Steal/Spell Vamp and Health Regen. Unfortunately, Lulu has no sustain/heal. Her ult does not "heal". It increases maximum health, and thus is unaffected by Grievous Wounds, Healing Reduction, and whatnot. If you need an item with health + MR, try Banshee's Veil.

Lastly, your teamfight chapter. "Polymorph an enemy threat, anyone really." No. As Lulu, you shouldn't throw your Polymorph around. It is, like you said yourself, an amazing form of CC. Thus, it should always, always be saved for the person who needs shutting down the most. I think you should make a special emphasis on interrupting channeled abilities ( Katarina's Death Lotus, Caitlyn's Ace in the Hole, Malzahar's Nether Grasp).

Meh, I wrote a lot, and over such little things too... Oops xD But hey, us Lulu players must keep everyone informed! <3 All in all though, your guide was really good. I agree with a lot of your build, but I do think that you should keep some of the things I said in mind. Of course, you're not pressured to in any way, shape, or form to change it, but always be open-minded~ Anyways, best of luck to you and your guide! ^_^

Edit: You should turn on Comment to Vote (C2V). This will prevent any troll voters and will give you the chance to get real, honest feedback. I upvoted, just btw ;)
