My favorite champion is Lux. I am a Silver league Lux player and I've been playing Lux as long as I can remember. By no means am I saying that I am the best Lux nor even good with Lux mechanically. Honestly this just depends on preference. I run with the doran's but it's up to you. If you're into the sustain that doran's gives you go for it but spellthief's edge has some mana regen and 2 g per 10 sec.

AutoAttack after abilities to consume stacks ofto last hit and harass in lane.



Use your skill to harass and farm minions in groups (wait for the slow to clump them together).


Bait your laning opponent into your (wait for them to commit to a fight against you). Also, calling your jungler isn't a bad idea.

The Lux Kill Combo:

Q->E->R->E (Detonate)->AA

Well, Lich Bane is a damage item. Athene's is a sustain item. Most people like to rush Athene's on Lux. However, if you are ahead why not make you lead even bigger? Additionally, the attack speed is a nice combination with those atk dmg runes to push towers.
