Introduction
-I just recently edited an earlier Teemo build due to the new season and this is the build I have been using as a base. You might have to mix it up, because of the enemy team's line up.
-Some of the things said might be related to the previous season or seasons before
BEFORE YOU VOTE THIS BUILD DOWN BECAUSE IT'S A DPS PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE GUIDE AND LOOK AT THE PROOF THAT THIS BUILD WORKS. IT'S NOT MY FAULT IF YOU SUCK WITH DPS TEEMO. IT WRECKS!!!
JUST HAVE FUN!!
AD- Attack Damage
AS- Attack Speed
AP- Ability Power
CS- Creep Score
MP- Magic Penetration
CC- Crowd Control
Beefy- Health, armor,( off tank, hard to kill)
Laning- Being in your lane you start out in.
Farming- Creep Score (you need a lot)
Shroom- Noxious Trap
Baiting- Acting as bait to trick enemy champions into your teammates or your shrooms so you kill them.
AS- Attack Speed
AP- Ability Power
CS- Creep Score
MP- Magic Penetration
CC- Crowd Control
Beefy- Health, armor,( off tank, hard to kill)
Laning- Being in your lane you start out in.
Farming- Creep Score (you need a lot)

Baiting- Acting as bait to trick enemy champions into your teammates or your shrooms so you kill them.

I have chosen the "Masteries" to a certain way so you can quickly nuke down your enemy's. Most people tend to disagree, however I find maxing out "Havoc" is a very useful mastery. This gives you a bonus 2.0% damage. That is +2.0% Toxic Shot damage, +2.0% Shroom damage, +2.0% Blinding Dart damage, +2.0% Basic Attack damage. That is a lot of bonus damage :).
Magic Penetration- This is very optional. I tend to like MP since it gives you a little extra damage on your "Malady" and "Toxic Shot."
However you may not want Life Steal, Havoc, or MP. Instead, you may be more of a defensive little extra "Armor" and "Magic Resistance" person. That is perfectly ok for this build(I tend to mix mine up sometimes for fun!) :P
Magic Penetration- This is very optional. I tend to like MP since it gives you a little extra damage on your "Malady" and "Toxic Shot."

Seeds and the Stems of Captain Teemo
Doran's Blade

Doran's gives you the Health you need in the beginning as Teemo so your not a free "First Blood." Provides you with the extra damage you need in order to deal damage in the beginning and the 3% Life Steal is the icing on the cake!

-It is optional to get a BF Sword after malady or a zeal then BF sword then Phantom Dancer. I like to just rush the phantom dancer, since once you buy a zeal the phantom dancer cost 1650 just as much as a BF. Plus Phantom Dancer gives you a good crit %.

1. Doran's Blade
2. RUN FOREST RUN. Get to middle as quickly as you can
3. If you are on the "PURPLE" team go to one of the blue spots in the picture above. VICE VERSA IF YOU ARE ON THE "BLUE" TEAM.
4.Wait for your opponent to start attacking creeps or push a little THEN STRIKE!!!.If they decide to go see who they are laning against early wait for them to go past you a good amount THEN STRIKE!!!
5. If you do not attack them and they start to go back to their tower cause their worried then you might as well shoot them once then go back to farming, laning,...and poking ;).
Other scenarios, if you are out shrooming and see a champion approaching and you are in a bush it is a good idea to stand still to activate your passive.
If you think or know you can take them, let them hit your shroom then BLINDING DART them and shoot'em up.
If you notice they will kill you. Pop move quick and put shrooms down behind you as you run. :).(THIS MAY EVEN ALLOW YOU TURN AROUND AND POKE AT THEM AS YOU ARE RUNNING, AND COULD POSSIBLY ALLOW YOU TO BLINDING DART AND FIGHT THEM AGAIN!!) :D
CAREFUL!!
If you are in someone's range of sight IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO GO INVISIBLE.
---WARNING---
PEOPLE CAN STILL HURT YOU WITH SPELLS WHILE YOU ARE INVISIBLE!
CERTAIN SPELLS LIKE ALISTAR'S "PULVERIZE" CAN KNOCK YOU OUT OF INVISIBILITY
BE VERY VERY CAUTIOUS!!
Q

This spell can make the difference between life and death.
TEAM FIGHTS- Once your tank or their thank initiates then there is no better time. Quickly cancel out their AD carry. By hitting "Q" and shooting this at them. This allows your team to target their squishies without worrying about being hit up for 2.5 seconds (easily enough time to kill one of their squishies.
--FIGHTING 1v1--
-IF YOU ARE GANKING BY YOURSELF IT IS A GREEEAAAT IDEA TO SHROOM UP AN ESCAPE ROUTE OR BAIT THEM INTO SOME SHROOMS FOR AN EASIER KILL.
Teemo vs. AD melee
1. Have and escape route ready (preferably shroomed)
2. Start auto attacking them until they get close to you then blinding dart.(this buys you 2.5 seconds of not being hit)
3. If you need put a shroom down right underneath them.
4. If you have to pop ignite with the shroom that way if they kill you, you will kill them (unless you are behind on the build and they're fed more than a fat cow.)
Teemo vs. AD ranged
Fighting against an AD ranged is a little more complicated since you don't get the extra few shots before popping your blinding dart. However ranged champions tend to be more squishy :)
1. Escape route ready
2. FLY AT THEM LIKE A HURRICANE
3. Blinding dart
4. ATTTTAAACK.
5. Ignite if you need to.
Teemo vs AP
Fighting 1v1 vs. an AP champion is a little more tricky. Since they're are some champions you shouldnt always 1v1 with teemo. ESPECIALLY CHAMPIONS WITH STUNS!!!
(When ganking an AP champion make sure you come out of the jungle and get the drop on them so they don't have time to get their burst on you.)
1. Blinding dart
2. Attack and ignite.
3. Hope you live or haul.
---SOME CHAMPIONS YOU SHOULDNT TRY TO GANK---
FIORA. Her ult will tear you up, UNLESS their Fiora is TRASH.
RIVEN. Riven has a nice stun that will easily counter- act your blinding dart THIS IS RISKY.
VEIGAR. IT IS RISKY GANKING VEIGAR WITHOUT A BANSHEE VEIL. If veigar hits you with his stun your almost as good as dead. Now if he misses that's another story.(Then you tear him up!)
RYZE. Ryze has an auto stun that can make you useless. HOWEVER unless Ryze is fed or has good farm his burst won't be that strong.
Renekton. Fighting Renekton is another risky fight. If you are fed and he isn't this may then be a good choice. REMEMBER WAIT FOR THEM TO BE LIKE EXACTLY IN MELEE RANGE BEFORE POPPING BLINDING DART. It is probably to put a shroom under renekton when fighting him and ignite him also.
--SAVING LIVES--
If you notice an ally being chased nearby then you should help out.
Shroom their path in front of them then blinding dart the person chasing them- this should allow them to live- (and you to get a kill if you start fighting this person!)
W

Move Quick Spell Passive- Basically once you work on move quick your movement speed is increased unless your attacked by a champion or turret. It gives you the bonus movement speed back after 5 seconds. Pretty simple
Move Quick Active- So, when you pop "W" it doubles the passive bonus movement speed it gives you. They're are a few things move quick is useful for after it's passive.
RUNNING- Ok, so if you realize your being targeted in a fight it is a good idea to pop W and haul outta there. That is probably the only thing you can do, unless you are working on a kill. This spell can help you in ganking to, ESPECIALLY IF YOU FAIL YOUR GANK. If you realize your going to die it is a good idea to pop W and run into the jungle or towards your turret ( if you run into the jungle this may give you enough time for your move quick passive to take place and for you to get out of their and ping for help!)
Chasing- If your prey get's away it is good to pop W and chase them and blinding dart and then ignite. If they have low health this should kill them.

E(Passive)

Once you work on your "E" you get an ability called Toxic Shot (this is Teemo's 1st or 2nd best ability.) Your basic attack will now have a poison effect to them.
POISON- You poison has an intial damage and a DOT(Damage Over Time) effect to each basic attack. Once you get this spell you can really start poking at enemy champions and tear them apart. This is also where your basic attack gets good damage in the beginning.
A LOT of Teemo builds are based around the fact of this spell. This is why having a high amount of ATTACK SPEED on Teemo is a GREAT THING, so you attack fast and tear your enemy's to pieces. THIS IS WHY I PREFER A MALADY, it allows your Toxic Shot to penetrate really well.
Another reason why having ignite on Teemo is nice, if they are running away they will take the "Ignite" DOT damage and your poison DOT damage, and if they have low health it will most likely kill them. ;)

Where to put shrooms!? Here's my prioritization on where to put shrooms.
1. RIVER-- Warding the river allows you and your team to see when and where enemy ganks are going and coming, and the flow of enemy champions.
2. DRAGON & BARON- Warding Dragon allows you and your team to see when they're taking dragon and a good opportunity for a surprise gank and maybe even kill drag. Baron- WARDING BARON PAST THE 25+ MARK IS VITALY IMPORTANT. This can make the game. Seeing when the enemy team is taking Baron allows you to gank them and steal Baron, sometimes resulting in an ending push! :D
3. BUSHES & RAMPS- Bushes are a great place to put shrooms! Enemy's with oracles will walk into them and still hit ur shrooms. MOST IMPORTANT this allows your team to see when enemy's are in what bushes ready to gank.RAMPS- Shrooms in ramps is also important it allows vision to see when champions are using ramps and slow them if they are chasing. :)
4. JUNGLE- It is important to ward the jungle cause it allow your team to see champs passing through it and can stop someone from taking Red/Blue Buffs. ;)
--Situations--
Don't always use shrooms as wards. You can use them for baiting.. slowing.. and damaging to.
-When fighting a 1v1 melee don't forget putting a shroom under them may be a good idea.
-When an ally champion is running away it is a good idea to shroom a path for them so the enemy chasing them will be slowed! :D

IT MAY BE A GOOD IDEA TO TAKE BLUE BUFF SO YOU CAN SHROOM THE MAP UP! BUT MAKE SURE IT'S OK WITH YOUR AP CARRY FIRST! UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE! ;)
MAKE SURE YOUR DROPPING DOWN SHROOMS LIKE THEY'RE PULLED HAND GRENADES!!!
EVEN IF YOU HAVE BAD PLACEMENT AT LEAST YOU HAVE SHROOMS DOWN! A TEEMO WITH BAD PLACEMENT IS BETTER THAN A TEEMO WITH NO SHROOMS. HANDS DOWN!!







FARMING
I can not stress how important FARMING is with any champion! For soo many reasons number 1 being that YOU MAKE MORE MONEY FROM CREEP SCORE THAN YOU DO KILLS/ASSISTS!!!
- Make sure that no matter where your laning YOU LAST HIT CREEPS! ALWAYS LAST HIT. IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO AUTO ATTACK A MINION IF YOU DON'T GET THE GOLD FOR THE LAST HIT!! THIS IS VITALY IMPORTANT!
-Even if you don't have any kills 30 minutes in the game you can have enough CS to make up for this and keep up with the same amount of gold the people carrying have! :)
POKING
THE FUNNEST THING TO DO WITH TEEMO IS POKE! This pisses people off and is lots of fun!
Whenever a melee champion goes up to last hit a creep blinding dart them so they can't! Also, you can just auto attack them since once you get lvl 2 you will be doing a decent share of damage and this will make them angry and MOST IMPORTANTLY KEEP THEIR FARM LOW!!
-However watch your mana when you are poking with blinding dart and you should keep enough mana for an extra dart just incase you get ganked or need it to save a teamate or stay alive. :)
