Introduction
At the start of the 2014 season Lucian is by far the strongest ADC pick in my opinion. He out trades and out lanes any ADC while still having a very strong late game team fight.
Try to have mercy on my grammar though, I was that kid that cheated in English class ;).

Enjoy my guide :)
Main goal is to abuse your early game. Lucians early game is by far better than anyones. This is why I almost always take barrier, even against Leona. This is very dependent on your support. If you can keep the bushes warded always take barrier, but if you cant depend on your support take clense because it will be hard to see the xenith comming.
The North Push Point
Try to keep your wave behind this point, it will save you from the enemy jungler a ton.

Same as the north side, this is your point when on the other team

Great example of a lvl 1 Q shot. This is good at lvl 1 because you want to pressure the wave to get lvl 2 before you enemy. It gives you better stats and more abilities to take control of the lane. Other times I would normally try not to push When to push and when not to push are in the next chapter.

Scenario 1 : You're ahead 1 kill and you have both returned from the last fight. Keep the lane in the middle or pushed towards your tower. This will allow you to take advantage of your early kill and give your jungler a great path to gank.
Scenario 2 : You're ahead 3 kills, 2 of which are on their support and 1 on their carry. Use that extra money to pick up a ward and then shove that lane and pressure the tower down.
If you kill them at any point while ahead, take their tower and call your jungler to do dragon
Scenario 3 : You have had a rough lane and are getting stomped. Put a couple points into your W, let them push and try to play safe. Wait for your jungler or a great opening. Above all remember its early game, things can turn around, stay positive.
