Morgana
With her Q and your Q together, you can keep an enemy stun-locked and easily pop them with your combo.

Champion Build Guide
Level 2: Take (Q) for poke combo.
Level 3: Take (W) for poke negation.
Max (R) when possible, it gives insane damage and cooldown reduction.
Max (E) first as it gives the most damage.
Max (Q) second as it gives more damage.
Max (W) last as it isn't crucial for your damage.
Manaflow helps with mana at all stages of the game.
Transcendence is good for CDR with my build, also gives bonus AP if max CDR.
Do not take absolute focus as Transcendence is better utility and more consistent.
Gathering Storm helps your late game scaling a lot. You can take Scorch here as well, but Gathering Storm is much more crucial and make a bigger difference once it stacks up.
Eyeball collection simply gives you more damage, always good.
helps reduce your ulti CDR even further so you can spam it ever 30s or so later stages into the game.
Q > E1 > AA > E2 (> Ignite) (> AA)
First you try to hit your Q for the stun. If you see the Q connect, immediately send out your E to the target but don't pop it. First auto attack to get your passive proc, then pop your E, and if you have time and it is safe, AA again. If not, DO NOT risk yourself for an extra AA. Use ignite if you are confident you can kill.
(Note: If enemy has Mercs Treads, this combo will be very hard to pull off. Forget about the AAs and do Q > E1 > E2 (> Ignite) )
Ultimate Combo:
Q > E1 > AA > R > E2 (> Ignite) (> AA)
This is the same as the basic combo, however you are including your ulti for extra damage. Same note as before, if they have Mercs Treads, do not use your AAs as you might not be able to pull off your combo in time.
Gives you mana, HP, some AP and easier CS.
This is a must-buy.
Health Pots:
Buy many of these if you are into a very poke intensive match-up.
Luden's Echo:
Very good core item. 20% CDR, 90 AP, 600 Mana, easier time CSing with passive.
What is there not to love about this item? It is expensive but fully worth it. Buy this every time.
Socerer's Shoes:
Very good shoes as they help you deal more damage due to the magic pen. Take every time as ninja tabis or mercs treads really aren't as crucial as these.
Oblivion Orb:
This item is amazing for the low price it costs. You get HP, AP and Magic Pen. It is not worth upgrading this time at first unless you really want the grevious wounds passive against champs like Soraka, Sona or Sylas, etc. Upgrade regardless as 6th item.
Rabadon's Deathcap:
An extremely good, but to the point, item. It gives you a massive 120 AP, which is incredible on it's own, but it also grants you an extra +40% of your total AP. This means the more you stack up your AP, the more this item will pack a punch. It's very good against all match-ups.
Banshee's Veil:
Good for pesky AP threats and initial stuns.
Zhonya's Hourglass:
A very good item against AD threats with an amazing passive which makes you invulnerable but doesn't let you do anything for 2.5 seconds. This passive is amazing for things like dying to ignite on extremely low health or negating things like Zed Ult, Fizz Ult, Syndra Ult, Veigar Ult, pretty much anything.
Liandry's Torment:
A good item which gives you healh, AP and two peculiar passives. The first grants you % extra damage for each second spent in combat with a foe. This passive is meh, it's extra damage though so can't complain. The 2nd passive is what really makes this item interesting, as it grants % max hp damage, increased if foe is stunned. This is a ton of extra damage in team fights and is effective against tanks with a lot of max health.
Your main combo for this lane is Q > E1 > AA > E2. This gives you a good chunck of damage (see more detailed explaination in 'Combos'). New Lux players will tend to forget about auto attacking, however this is not a good thing as your passive actually scales really well of your AP, so it is a good chunck of damage which is worthy of including as long as it is a safe choice.
Be careful not to spam your abilities too much, you don't want to be running out of mana extremely quickly. Only poke when you have your manaflow band available again. Your mana will slowly stop becoming an issue once you get Lost Chapters, however late game you may struggle with mana issues again as Luden's Echo only gives +600 max mana, which you will eventually burn up quickly with 40% CDR.
Try to get a kill if at all possible, however try not to push too far into lane and keep atleast one side of your lane warded incase their junglers tries to jump you. Junglers may try to camp mid lane and ruin your flow. If that happens, let the enemy push you into your tower.
Try not to waste your flash, however if you are 100% certain you can get a kill by using it, feel free. A very good trick you can use is to flash when the enemy isn't expecting it, and then unlease your primary combo. This may result in a very dead enemy, especially if you use ignite, however be aware that you will be left without any resources for a very long time after an all-in of this type because both of your summoner spells are gone. Only use this if you really need the kill and think that you will not be needing your flash.
Try to be there when team fights are happening and help your team control objectives like drake and rift herald.
