The guide is a bit outdated was created before WOTA changes. Now a WOTA and a Hextech Gunblade make some good sense for him, as it offers insane sustain, CDR, AP, slow, AD (for Q, towers and dueling).

I'd say WOTA, Hextech, Rylais, Boots, Rabbadons and Zonyas would do the trick. I consider Ludens to be too weak and/or too expensive. Ive never build it on any of my Mages, never felt much damage frm enemies using and never regret it

Why not build a WOTA and a Gunblade? that will total up to 48% spell vamp with a Spirit Visage.
Typically I build a Will of the Ancients, Sorcerer's Shoes, Hextech Gunblade, Rabadon's Deathcap, Luden's Tempest, then either a Zhonya's Hourglass, Void Staff or Rylai's Crystal Scepter

What about Luden'sEcho? I think it fits to Morde

I've enjoyed playing him for a long time but never really took into account the finer details of performing much better than "yeah okay I guess"

This guide alone has improved my Morde play SO MUCH for both Top and Mid. I love this.

Ah yeah. The ongoing debate if WOTA is better than Gunblade on Mordekaiser. I personally think both are viable options but I simply thing Gunblade help's Mord out more as well as being more slot-efficient. Having a targeted slow makes chasing and escaping ganks easier, while having some extra ad helps dueling, your mace of spades and lasthit/pushing towers. I sometimes get WOTA though, which is often the case when I'm behind or are having a hard lane. I guess I could update the guide to include that option though :D

I still think WOTA would be a better item than revolver however I like how you give an explanation to why pick the item anyways. Overall your guide has potential, it just needs to be elaborated a bit more. GL on your guide :D
