- Manaflow band is a personal choice for better lane sustain. Ultimate hat is also a great choice as your R is a game changer.

- Perfect timing can be a life saver. Also great to build into Zhonya's
- Magical footwear is just an overall good choice for Malzahar
Pros / Cons
+ Tankier mage with passive
+ Good poke in lane with E
+ Great CS farm
+ Once you hit 6, R is a free gank for your jungler
+ Great team fight utility with suppress and silence.
