Introduction
The main point of this build is simple. It is a build explaining briefly your duty in the early, mid, and late game stages. start off with the first build and go through to the last to understand. If you don't understand the build just by looking at it, read the ITEMS and SUMMARY.
The runes are simple.
Marks and Quintessence: I think that because the only armor penetrating item on the build is the Axe of Despair. That axe might not be enough to penetrate the enemy's defenses. Therefore, get the Desolation runes. If you want then get some other runes i don't care what happens to you.
Seals: I chose the Clarity seals because there isn't anything on this build that helps you regenerate mana in the early game. In mid and late game though, you are able to kill the blue golem granting you mana regeneration, but until then, clarity runes would help you regenerate mana so that in early game, you don't have to keep recalling or waiting a long time to get mana for abilities like highlander or alpha strike. get somehting else if you want.
Glyphs: I think that CDR glyphs are always good no matter what champion you play. I can't chose between the Focus glyphs or the Celerity glyphs, but choose what ever you prefer. I just like CDR runes because I don't have to wait for a hell of a time in early game, but in late game, f you become a hardcore killer, you just need highlander and blue buff. The coice is yours get whatever you like.

I don't have much to say about my masteries. Masteries are whatever you want they are the most freeform part of a build other than the items, but I just think that this basic mastery page should work. But remember, you are free to choose any masteries you want, they are not that important.
Well the items are pretty odd. You must start off with the first build, and then move on to the second build, and then finish up with the third build.
The first build is for early game. I consider early game any part of the game until 20 minutes. buy all the items on the build in the correct order until then. It should be somewhat easy because the items are cheap and effective for early game. You will use some in the mid and late game phases. Change any items if you would like, this build gives you a lot of freedom. As soon as early game is over, move on to the second build.
The second build is about mid game. I think that mid game ranges from 20-40 minutes into the game. These are also not too expensive items that are from the early game phase and will be used in the late game phase. Note that at this point, you must sell quite a bit of things to move on. Remember that you can always change any part of the item sequence in game and add new items if you like. As soon as mid game is over, move on to the third build.
The third build is about the late game phase. At this point, you should already have most of the items in the build. You will have to do some selling to move on. After you have afforded the items, you have probably finished the game. if not, just buy the three elixirs to make yourself look shiny and keep playing. Remember that you can always change the build so that if you're too squishy, you can get some defense with guardian angel or something.
Please give suggestions when you comment and rate this build because I do not play Yi very frequently.

I think that maxing out Wuju Style and Alpha Strike first could get you some good damage. However, you are always at freedom to change this build, so if you like meditation, go get it.
As for the rest of the skill sequence, I don't have much to say. Like the masteries, this is a freeform part of the build.

Things I like to get.
Exhaust-In 1v1 fights against another dps like Olaf you win!
Flash-You have highlander, but this is also a good getaway.
Ghost-If you want extra speed.
Cleanse-Gotta hate those stuns.
Things that are ok to get.
Heal-Who doesn't like getting healed?
Ignite-If you really need last hit.
Don't get these unless you want to.
Clarity-You have the runes of this spell already.
Teleport-You are fast what is the point of this? Anyway the tank should get this.
Fortify-Tanks get this not you.
Clairvoyance-You can afford wards or ask you team to get it. You basically don't need this as much as your tanks do so don't get it.
Rally-What does this do? You got Wuju Style anyway.
Revive-Don't get this. It's bad.
Smite-This is a good spell, but you're not gonna jungle in this build.
Promotion-This spell was there for some odd reason but it's not real. You can put it on a build, but this spell is not real.
