Double Strike (PASSIVE)
Master Yi Passive Ability
Introduction
The masteries are 21/9/0. Fully upgrade Summoner's Wrath and Brute Force. From there upgrade Alacrity and Demolitionist. Then get Weapon Expertise and Havoc. After that get Lethality and Vampirism. Then grab Sunder. Finally, get Executioner. They all go to the foundation of life steal and attack speed. Executioner is a cherry on the top. For defense I would get 2 Resistance and 2 Hardiness. After that get 2 Durability and 2 Vigor. Then get Veteran's Scars to top it off. That will give you a small amount of durability at the beginning of the game.
The items are a flexible aspect to the build I am making. Executioner's Calling, Frozen Mallet, Youmuu's Ghostblade,The Bloodthirster, Phantom Dancer, and Berserker's Greaves are what I picked. They go to the same foundation I have been referring to the entire build. The Frozen Mallet is the only exception to the list. It helps make you less squishy and gives a solid damage output. Its passive is what turns the tables. It is great for chasing. Speed decreased by 40% for 3 seconds is a big deal. It gives you and upper hand that is very much needed. I know that Bilgewater Cutlass has 50% but I think that Frozen Mallet gives the health that is essential to Yi.
The skill sequence is the most flexible thing on the build. It mostly is trying to point out that you should get Wuju Style first and upgrade it first. Then get Alpha Strike and max it second. Upgrade your ult whenever possible, it is great. Meditation is a skill that should be upgraded when nothing else can be upgraded. Wuju style has a passive that gives you extra damage. While the ability is active its effect is doubled. Highlander gives a ton of movement speed and attack speed, a deadly combo with Wuju Style. To top off the ult, if you make a kill while Highlander is active all recharges reset. Alpha Strike jumps at an opponent and hits other enemies during the movement. With those three skills I would jump in with Alpha Strike and instantly activate Wuju Style and Highlander. This gives easy kills.
Summoner Spells are also flexible in this build. The point for surge is to give me more attack speed. Helps a lot during the beginning of the game. It makes the skills standout more. Also it helps with destroying turrets. Ignite has two ways to be used. One is to get out of bad situations. You would use ignite to scare them off. That way you can hide and recall. The attacking part of ignite can help a lot. It gets you the last hit on everything if timed correctly. That gives you easier farming and more gold. And that gets you to finish the build faster.
To enter this phase of Master Yi you must have completed the build and turret dived twice, both for the kill. Then you use all of your skills and charge(except for meditation.) Killing will become common and expect to be commented on by both teams. This is usually the indication of a win.
