Introduction 3v3

Hi, this is my first guide, and like many when someone doesn't believe there is a stronger guide or another guide is not viable to them they make their own guide they think works, so here it is. This guide is focusing on a pure DPS Master Yi, and it works. As a carry class, you have to be the carry so i believe that you should pair up with a tank to tank off then try and build yourself as a tank. There is some items in this guide that are not on the main items that you can consider getting if you are being focused a lot; but for the majority if you pick the items on my list, you will have enough life steal to overcome 3 damages.

Runes

Runes that are chosen in this guide

Greater Seal of Evasion
Greater Mark of Desolation Greater Mark of Desolation
Greater Glyph of Malice
Greater Quintessence of Desolation Greater Quintessence of Desolation

Reasons :
Greater Seal of Evasion
I chose this one because Dodge is nice, its not lets take 20 less damage, its lets have a chance at ignoring a complete hit.

Greater Mark of Desolation
Greater Quintessence of Desolation
In the beginning you are extremely powerful with 25 armor pent plus the mastery tree (sunder) that ignores 2/4/6 of there armor, so that is generally 31 armor pent at level 1. on most characters that means you will be dominating them. very easy to harass when someone is armor-less against you.

Greater Glyph of Malice
I chose this one because 2.5% crit is awesome at the beginning added effect from your mastery page (deadliness 0.66/1.33/2 %) so your sitting at 4.5 % crit at level 1 with no items.

Masteries

The masteries i chose were for damage output and a little extra defense because there was nothing fascinating on the utility. I also wanted to go into the dodge rating part of the defensive, in utility mana regen is ok, as after a few alpha strikes your pretty much oom. But not enough for me to choose over dodge.

Items

I personally like to start out with because it has increased HP by 100; attack damage by 10 which goes nice with Wuju style; and life steal. With Doran's Blade plus Wuju style popped that's a 40 AD increase, and double swing from your passive you put out alot of harrasment.

If you really do not prefer a Doran's you can pick up your boots of speed and some health potions.

Within the first 3-5 minutes, you should have 2 kills around and you will have enough for your .

When I'm picking up , I usually start with to start criting more often. Then after that finishing . You should be around level 6, and should be starting to gank. Same thing goes with finishing . I get then I finish off the Dancer.

By the time you get phantom dancer you should be around level 9 and have started ganking. By now head to the dragon and you can easily solo, get the buff for the team.

Getting second in my opinion is the best thing to do. You turn you 390 crits into 800-1k crits. It has a huge damage increase that is very very useful for a auto attack hero mid-game. You should have it by level 13-15.

I get after infinity edge because turning those 1k crits into 200 HP a hit plus gives you attack speed and HP/5. After you get infinity's edge and grinding the money for stark's should be easy.

i get before because of the minion kill stacking effect. And even for heavy armor teams you are still hitting very hard as you have armor pent as well as stark's armor pent.

is a nice finisher weapon but games don't last that long with this build.

I found that 60% of teams my team verse, surrender because of the 25-3 team score at 15 minutes into the game.

If a game really lasts an hour because of super defensive play on other team because of stubbornness, then replace boots with another phantom dancer as you just gain attack speed, and crit, and you barely lose any run speed.

Skill rotation

Videos of the rotation coming soon.

The best rotation I found on master Yi is use to get onto the target. Once is used, Master Yi will be on the target (even if they flashed, blinked, or anything to get "out of range") once on top of the target to get a super easy kill hit you and your R, and get the kill. Once you got the kill, ALL your CD's are reset. Main reason I don't choose CDR runes on blue.

Be careful when popping your , if you pop it too early and can't get a kill you will not get your cooldown reset and you will have to wait for the timers.

For best damage you should use your + together, at any level its super effective.

can be amazing if timed right. When you know someone is going to nuke you, meditate will give you bonus armor and magic resist, making it seem like they didn't really hurt you with their best skills.

This rotation will hurt your mana pool but usually reward you in about 3 kills if lucky, and if not 3 then definitely 2 and you are safe to go back to town to regain mana and buy new weapons.
