Introduction
PROS
Can deal massive amounts of damage in a short amount of time.
Can stay in lanes longer with meditate and that will help with farming.
Here comes the good part, the part that makes the whole build worth looking at, the items!
I start off with Boots of speed and 3 health pots or 2 health pots and a Mana pot depending on who the enemy team is. After that i get Berserker Greaves and then break off to get either a Brutalizer or a avarice blade, *I prefer Brutalizer for the damage early on but crit is always good on Yi.* Go straight for Youmuu's Ghostblade. Then get some extra damage with a bf sword and for attack speed a Recurve bow. You're going to want to get some Lifesteal early on because Yi can deal alot of damage but cant really stay alive long enough to deal it so Bloodthirster may be able to help out with that and the stacks on it with extra attack damage and Lifesteal will help. Now next is your main attack speed item Madred's Bloodrazor, This item is great on most Melee DPS/Ranged DPS champions because it can obviously give you more attack speed and can deal extra magic damage according to the enemy's hp so this item can help out with Yi with dealing damage. Now for the massive armor pen item Last Whisper. This item can give you massive amounts of damage on squishy characters like some Ranged DPS'ers Like Twisted Fate, Teemo, Tristana, Ashe, and so on. Infinity edge is semi-important on a champion like Yi because it gives him critical chance and extra damage but it costs alot early on so i would buy it as mt 4th or 6th item depending on how the game is going.
SITUATIONAL ITEMS
These items are good for Yi but aren't always needed.
Randuin's Omen:
This item is O.K. for yi because it comes with an AOE slow, attack speed slow, and some armor. So i would suggest this item if you are being focused alot or you need to help your team out with enemy's main dpsers.
Quicksilver Sash:
This item is good for escaping and facing some casters with stuns/snares like, Annie, Ryze, Swain, Lux, and so on.
Stark's Fervor:
This item is great for yi but isn't if someone is already building it. It gives your team mates that are around you increased attack speed and lifesteal.
