Introduction

This is the into to my builds of the several ways that I play as the character Master Yi.... He is most defiantly NOT a tank, or a MAGE at all... So always remember that if you want to do good.. then dont just go in there and expect that you can 1v5 or even 1v3 anyone... Master Yi is a dms speed champion that can indeed go AP, or Jungle as well. The main things you'll need to focus mainly is obviously speed or dmg to play typically, but then you are also very squishy. So I like to play as Yi in a way to make him have some health and some resist to help you live some more haha.

Summoner Spells

Your fast with DMG..... exhaust to slow
Your fast and if you cant catch..... use ghost to catch up
Your AP..... spam alpha and us clarity
Your jungle.... smite much??

Farming

Alpa and also wuju.... both strong... and your already fast with dmg and lifesteal.... what is there o worry about?

Team Work

Try to stay back and let others engage, you do have health and some MR and Armor but you still can be killed easily... so stay for a couple seconds away in teamfight and then you engage and kill all... simple... dont get killed and us other off-tanks or tanks to get hit first..

Skill Sequence

Level up your E and your W typically and place some in Q to farm...
E is to do alot of extra dmg
W is to heal up when needed
Q is to farm and sometimes to chase if you wish to

Ranked Play

Umm...... Idk... most dont as Yi and most people dont want you to play as Yi in a ranked, but you just be alot more causous because they WILL focus you alot more than the other because or more late game things such as backdooring

Creeping / Jungling

LANING~
Use alpa and wuju style and use meditate to heal after taking dmg

JUNGLE~ no AP jungle
Regular route- Big wolf ONLY- Blue Golem- finish wolfs- banshees- red lizard- golems
Side routes- Golems- banshees- red lizard- wolfs- blue golems
Early gank route- Wolfs- banshee- golems- red lizard- GANK

Items

Always want attack speed and some damage as yi as this is what he mainly is... but it is my preference to have some beef as Yi so you cant die in 1 or 2 hits :)

Masteries

go for dmg, lifesteal, and attack speed for the most part and then also some defense because of your beef.... for Ap.... just typically AP masteries with some beef as well haha

Runes

Good for most part for defence and some offence as well... and AP runes as AP Yi because you want flat out AP runes for early game dominance with the alpa strike
