The main source of damage with AP Master Alpha Strike as you'll notice it scales 100% with your ability power. Second to damage, the utilization of Meditate is crucial as it scales for 400% with ability power and can easily take you from no health to full health in longer games. Apart from this, Wuju Style is good to pick up early on because it will add a 15 damage to all your attacks; also, once Lich Bane is acquired you'll pack quite a punch with Lich Bane activated from Alpha Strike and then Wuju Style. Highlander is useful for maneuvering around team fights and escaping when need be. Also, with Malady you'll have a decent amount of attack speed, and Highlander just adds to it. As far as items go, Rylai's and Zhonya's may be swapped for other things, the last two items can be chosen based on necessities.
