Champion Build Guide
General weaknesses
Mostly requires a mid to late game focus. This build mainly goes for the omnivamp and mixed damage. This actually gives her 4 different types of damage if that wasn't obvious. Early game may start as weaker but this build is focused on scaling due to the upcoming irelia changes. The build can be countered by burst magic damage, due to having no magic resistances and no magic damage reduction.
General strengths
Irelia will primarily be focused on 1v1s, this build will shine against tanks, due to having AD + AP + TRUE DMG + %HEALTH damage from her items. Attack speed isn't an issue due to her passive.
Additionally, due to the new Irelia being focused on scaling into the late game, this build is more focused on the top lane. This is because she will receive more XP and more Gold. Meaning faster items and faster increased damage output.

Teamfight strengths
This build would likely be less effective in team fights, Irelia could be focused down by the enemy team if not careful enough. Try to play inbetween the team and going in at the right time. Try to support the frontline by landing an E or Q and then heading in. If the only champ on the team that can frontline is Irelia, look for big ults and E's for your team. If you cause a distraction you can also have ur team weaken the enemies for you to go in.
Tips
Even though her new early game will be weaker than before, still look for set ups on the wave by lowering the minions health for your q. Although this will be slower it now only requires 4 minions before you can engage an enemy.
If you're level 3 look for a q reset and depending on your skin try to hide your e inside your w to make it harder to see and then use q from there. Remember to Auto Attack between Q.
A general combo in a 1v1 situation outside of lane (While level 6) would be:
E1 > W (Hold) > E2 > Q > AA > R > AA > Q > AA > Q
