Hi everybody, this is my very first guide so I hope you can enjoy it. I will not enter into much detail since there's no much science using Master Yi on mid.

I have developed a very intuitive game, and to be honest, I can only say my team work is not that sharp. So maybe someone with an accurate team work could do a lot with this guide.

Why Master Yi... well, if you like speed and big damages, there should not be another explanation, otherwise I recommend another champion.

The runes presented in this guide were selected to start with 378 movement speed and great AP with MP, combined with the propper masteries and a Dorans Ring, they will lead you to a great lane control.

I'm all about offense plus movement speed and mana regen, there is no other way. You will spam your "Q" like theres no tomorrow, so you will need a lot of mana, and also, you will deal lots of damage.

Since most of the champions or builds are not based on speed, and you will find a lot of ranged champions, the strategy here is to let em fear you by your speed and AP.

Since you start with 378 movement speed, Doran's Rings is the only choice, unless you fight Ziggs or LeBlanc, when you will need extra movility to avoid their attacks. But with practice there will be no need to get those boots and potions.

As soon as you reach 500 and push your lane into the enemy tower, you will need to get back and get your 2nd Doran's Ring, and you will repeat this with your boots and MP boots. At this point it's more likely to have 1 or 2 kills in your lane or any other lane (yes, roam and kill steal, I mean Kill Assist).

After the MP boots the rest it's a pice of cake. If you have any other difficulty, then farm and avoid fights until you reach Rabadons Deathcap.

My only alternative is Spell Vamp, but I only use it if I really have a hard/bad time laning, such as multiple and continuos ganks. Thrust me, they will gank A LOT since you will push A LOT and KILL A LOT or at least deny minnions.

This sequence is focused on inflicting damage and using meditate to "tank" on battles or save your life.

Final Notes

There are no hard enemies, just skilled players and experience, so in order to master teh Master, you will need to play a lot, move a lot and harass a lot. Try to remember the range of your opponent skills and that way you'll be safe, also this will help you in order to learn how to cast your spells at the correct situation or time.

If you find yourself at a point where you cannot farm or cannot Kill Assist, Kill or Kill Steal, then focus on your "E" and become hybrid with items such as Lychbane, also with attack speed and movility, that way you will be destroying towers and keeping the foes out of your teams reach. With that, they will be roaming trying to kill you, or letting their turrets at your will. Either way, you or your team will be killing or destroying towers.
