Introduction

In the beginning you want to deny as much enemy farm as you can while harassing your opponents without getting killed or ganked.
Let your AD carry farm up. Buy wards if you need to. (dragon warding)

If for whatever reason your AD Carry sucks, or you are not laning with another AD Carry, carefully farm and harass.

Once you have won the bot lane or around early mid game, perhaps when you reach lvl 6 start roaming around as you sit fit.

Watch the money roll in like a slot machine, this build is designed for you to utilize TF with skill, it contains a gambling element to it, however if you pro with TF you shouldn't have a problem.

You won't be as strong as a conventional AP Carry Tf, and you won't provide proper support (items with support passives); however you will be able to support your team using pure skillshots, positioning, and you will be able to do some serious AP damage etc ... And unlike conventional MID TF, with Support TF it is harder for you to have an early bad game, and even if you have some bumps early you won't be useless mid-late game, the build is designed to keep TF growing no matter what. You'll be able to support/carry/kill.

kage's lucky pick

Although you'll end up replacing your Shard of True Ice, I cannot stress how important it is for you to get an early lucky pick, and upgrade it to Shard of True Ice. This is the pivotal item that makes the build work.

Also the soul-stealer is essential for you to get a lot of AP quickly and cheaply. However this means that you can't die or feed, you'll be on the edge of your seat constantly pushing it to the limit.
