This guide contained really info that helps you get a better understanding on the champ and the items that would best work in certain situations,very helpful and i feel more confident on my knowledge of the champ

i am a Mordekaiser Main and this is not a good Guide. If you want a good Guide search up **** Huap on youtube and watch his video about mordekaiser(this is not me/neither a friend of mine. He has a lot of game knowledge and teaches people how to play offmeta champions in his Videos)

I really don't agree with anything in the build here. As a Mordekaiser main the only thing I can relate to is yeah I build Rylais every game. Runes look bad, items are ok but gunblade is a needed item on morde, and worst of you do not max q first or even second. I disagree with the match ups you have posted as hard and the ones you have as easy but that could be seen as personnel preference and the fact that our builds are drastically different. Ghost got nerfed which is what I used to take but now I take Exhaust or Teleport. Your dragon section doesn't tell the user how to use the dragon advantageously or how to push a turret or take objective with it. All and all I feel like I know the ins and outs of mordekaiser and I wasn't impressed with this here guide. If you still care about updating your guide or trying my strategies im more than welcome to share.

Hi I appreciate the feed back regardless of positivity and/or negativity so thank you! I will address your concerns in some points and would love to know what you'd change personally because I will consider those changes. Also I haven't been playing a lot lately due to simply, life y'know lmao, sure you understand.

1. Can I just ask if you tried this build first? Like I understand that there are some things in the build that don't look like they could work but did you actually give them a try? Specifically the runes?

2. The Q build is no longer the main build of the guide, I haven't had the time or chance really to change that, but the max Q build was mainly a fun ability leveling route I had going and it surprisingly worked pretty good but just wanted to say that!

3. The Match-ups are personal as well, I do explain how it worked for me but again, some people do better against certain champions.

3. As for ghost, I haven't had the chance to try Exhaust on him but I do have TP as another selection for summoner spells but I'll most likely change it out for TP.

4. I do need to work on the dragon section but again, just haven't had the time to put more detail into it.

Now I understand that you have your own personal way of playing Morde and I'm not going to try to play the "Oh I have Lada da hours of experience" game because that's stupid. However I will say I do plan on updating the guide soon, but I'll pass on your strategies, because I do obviously love criticism and advice and use it, but at the same time the build is my build and what I've found to work for me! But again thank you for your post and future comments.

One of my criticisms was a bit misleading about the runes. I think that one rune page is good just not in all situations. bare with me here. You have the other options of runes listed but some don't work well with each other. Like if your running MR glyphs you shouldn't be using AP Quints only if your running AP glyphs as well. Also I thought I should concede the fact that I do use the CDR blues now. The build in general I know is suppose to revolve around the Q but that is the worst ability for morde to max first and I can explain why. All it does for you early is more damage and you are completly reliant on the ability that is your hardest to land. Yeah it is kinda cool if the person is an immobile champion and your stormraiders procs to catch up but generally people are going to avoid the third q or even second as much as possible and it isnt even hard. Now maxing W is 90% of the time what you have to to against melee champions as it provides amazing sustain and damage in lane. I would max E first if im against a range champion that can poke me down easily and the reason I do that is because maxing E gives more percentage of your passive shield back so you can trade poke easier. That being said the only time you max Q second is when your laner and the jungler are melee and your ahead and want to outplay them, other than that E second max if you went W max first. And my thoughts on the build. You really shouldn't build trinity force all that often because 1 its to expensive and 2 morde needs other items. I dont see hextech gunblade or liandries any where in your situational items that are all tank items, need some situational offense items too but you know that I see the coming soon. Your masteries are good I prefer vampirism but thats a preference. I do think teleport is the best summoner option top lane now that ghost is nerfed just because you can split and have a presence in an upcoming teamfight simple as that. I now know this guide is incomplete due to you not having enough time but I just don;t want mordekaiser players being mislead on how mordekaiser is suppose to be played, calling it a fun build is fine and all but that is misleading to a player that thinks fun = good. My last notes are just reminding you that on top of having a part of the guide dedicated to dragon pet uses you should also have a part on who to ult and what benefits you get from different clones. You also have random references to past builds in your guide mentiona black cleaver and some other stuff a couple times that just needs a little bit of clean up. Thank you for taking the criticism I know I am only pointing out the bad but it is for the good of the mordekaisers out there somewhere.

The damage was insane & made a bigger impression than with the Post-Nerf & with , found myself sticking to target alot easier(Not to mention it's low CD makes it really convenient).

If I can find a good Mix & Match with Masteries then I'm sure that I can create something unstoppable.

Yeah I agree ghost is a great summoner spell for Morde rn as well as Exhaust and obviously teleport! Your build makes good sense too, I'm surprised you didn't try taking rylai's anyways but Tri-Force, Deadsman do make up in movement speed so I understand! All in all I like this build, what did you run for runes?

Can i get banned for playing such off meta champion?

LMFAO hopefully riot will be more accepting of Morde than they were with Support singed

So I was wondering do you think liandry works well on mord? I mean I know that it's not the craziest ap item, but it gives nice stats for mord. Ap, magic pen, a burn and some life. I find that it makes your e hurt that much more in lane. I have rushed it more than once and after I get it tend to find that I do a lot more in lane.

I think Liandry's is actually a pretty great item and I am always forgetting to add it in the situation item portion. I would only really consider this the best 2nd (or 3rd if you want boots 2nd) if you're off to a great start. Otherwise I'd prob get it 4th or 5th after getting Ryali's, boots, hourglass, and another Defensive Item. But to answer your question, yes it works pretty effectively on Mordekaiser!

Mordekaiser goes very well against many champs but the biggest problem is Yasuo. Simply because of his stun. Morde is slow at early game so its hard for him to dodge it. Especially when he reaches lvl 6. Whic items are best to use against him in the early game.

By stun I'm assuming you mean his Tornado? Also Yasuo actually isn't a huge issue for Morde as well. Both have very similar early game play styles actually in the sense they both can poke from a short range, however Morde should be coming out on top if you're playing right and safe.

Keep a good a range and poke him as well as keep your shield up from Minions as well as poking him. If you break his shield, your Q will literally delete a good portion of his HP if you land all 3.

As for items to get against him, if you're doing the Q-centered build I recommend Randuin being your frist defensive item, and for the AP build Hourglass could make a good first item if things aren't going well for you but Rylai's can work good as well against him to help slow him down if it's his mobility that's screwing you over.

I'm quite surprised you recommend Black Cleaver. I would have thought that Triforce is better for the same sort of item.

You lose a bit of AD and health, and it costs more, but you gain the sheen proc (150ish dmg) and a huge amount of attack speed, which massively helps getting the Q off quickly. Also the extra MS is nice.

Also you do mainly magic damage with hybrid items, so the armour penetration isn't as useful as it is for its other users.

Hi I'm sorry I'm getting back to this so late, I actually took an interest in your comment and I ended up agreeing with you, Triforce does actually work better than BC, I was so focused on the Health that I don't think I truly took the overall DMG gained from TF in consideration.

Honestly there's nothing wrong with that. I'm glad you asked this today because I just released my new Hybrid build that will include those items. It really just all depends on how you want to play Mordekaiser and how you're game is going.
