Introduction

Hello and thank you for visiting my Dr. Mundo guide. The following chapters will explain everything from play style to Items. Please take the time to read through the Abilities, Items, and Farming chapters before you use this build. I hope this helps you and good luck!

Abilities/ How to Use Them Effectively

Infected Bonesaw- This is EVERYTHING to you! Max it first and be careful about how you use it. If you cant land 7/10 of these cleavers (on champions, minions, or monsters), you shouldn't play as Mundo because then you are only causing useless health loss. Even though you could use it on minions you should try to use it as your poke on enemy champions. It will keep them encourage them to back off because the damage and slow effect and this will make it easier to gather CS and push the turrets.

Heart Zapper- This ability is great but early game you need to use it with caution. It will drain you health and even kill you but once you get your Force of Nature you don't have to be as careful. Early game it should only be on during a hard push where you know you or a teammate will secure the kill; And only have it one when they are within range. After getting Force of Nature you can use it on anything you want but don't leave it on too long. After you get the Spirit Visage you can leave it as long as you want. your health regain will outdo it.

Blunt Force Trauma- Only use this ability if you 60% or less of your health bar. Otherwise you are wasting it. Also only use it when within melee range.

Maximum Dosage- This ability is all about good timing. Use it when you have about 30% - 40% of your health left. Any less and it wont have enough time to heal yourself before the enemies kill you. If you use it too early it will go to waste. Once you get Spirit Visage's cool down reduction, you can use it a lot more freely. Also having blue buff will allow you to use it more freely.

Items

The first two items are pretty straight forward tank. The third item ( Warmog's Armor) is your key item. Once you get this everything will become more easy so get it as fast as possible. After that you focus on health regain because all of Mundo's abilities take health. Force of Nature and Spirit Visage will take care of that and once you have those two items you really don't have to worry about your abilities health cost. Sunfire Aegis gives you that extra armor and AOE.

Your last item can be a Guardian Angel but you can also change it out depending on how the mach is going. Consider replacing it for another Force of Nature or a Randuin's Omen.

Summoner Spells

Heal seem somewhat redundant but it helps a lot early game and it is a good team supportive spell. Flash is great to catch up to those speedy champions so that they are in cleaver range; Or you can use it for getaways (mainly early game but still helps later)

Farming

Yes you are a tank but you NEED to farm so that you can get that Warmog's Armor faster. It is your key item and everything will be great once you get it. After you have a Force of Nature, use Heart Zapper to get your CS faster.

Runes

The rune set up is set up to give you some damage boost. I wanted to deal some damage and be a tank but if you want just full tank you could replace these runes with health, armor, and magic resist.

Masteries

This is intended to make you the tank that you desire to be with a little utility and damage (very little damage).

Skill Sequence

Focus on upgrading Infected Bonesaw because it is your MOST important ability and you need to use it extensively.

Second thing you fully upgrade is Heart Zapper because it is your AOE that helps you push and secure the kill. Once again don't overuse this in the beginning because it will kill you.

Lastly you upgrade Blunt Force Trauma. Not much argument to this except that it is the lesser of the 3.
