Dodge his knockup and he wont be able to touch you.
Camille
Stay in the middle of the lane so she wont hit her E, and you should be fine.
Darius
Once Darius has phage, he might be a problem so use your stun combo wisely.
Galio
Dont stay near your minions against Galio, for a tank he has really good waveclear. Dont let him farm and poke you at the same time.
Gragas
Give Gragas the option to either use his Q as poke to you, or to farm minions. And please... dodge his E..
Graves
Fight him behind your minions, besides his waveclear he is no threat to you.
Heimerdinger
Use your Q to clean up his turrets, and force him under tower.
Jax
Everytime he tries to stun you, make sure you stun him first. If you wanna play it save, use your E to back off when he does.
Kled
As long you dodge his hook, he wont be able to do anything.
Malphite
Farm lane! FUN!!
Mordekaiser
Dont all in him at 6, poke him low enough and make sure your all in kills him.
Ornn
Dont play near walls and make sure to dodge his Q.
Poppy
Unlike other tanks poppy has a good engage, play safely with Q pokes and farm. Try and punish her as much as you can early game.
Quinn
Everytime your marked, she will try to auto attack you. Use this to your advantage and punish her for it with your Q.
Rammus
Farm lane! FUN!!
Rengar
Keep the river warded and stay away from the bush.
Shaco
Stay on the minions path to avoid boxes.
Your trades are stronger than his.
Singed
Easy matchup as long as you dont let him proxy. If he does, ask your jungler early game to punish him a few times for it.
Sion
Dont play in a straight line against sion for his slow. Other than that its a farm lane.
Teemo
Everytime teemo tries to bully you with his blind or auto attacks, punish him.
Tryndamere
Dont let him fill his fury bar by auto attacking minions.
Urgot
Dont go in unnecessary extended trades, just poke him and back off.
Volibear
Keep your distance, once he runs towards you, E away. Make sure you dont all in him when is passive is up.
Wukong
Everytime he jumps towards you, stun him with your combo and punish him for it.
Yasuo
His windwall is the only annoying part. Other than that, should be easy.
Cho'Gath
As long you dodge his Q and keep your distance, its a free lane.
Dr. Mundo
Mundo is one of the few tanks which can actually kill you in lane and you wont be able to kill him that easily. Prioritise farming over killing.
Garen
The movement garen gets from his Q can be annoying but not more annoying than his silence, avoid it at all cost!
Gnar
Dont let him get 3 stacks on you, or he will win trades. Keep poking him and punish him when he turns in Mega Gnar.
Illaoi
Since her abilities has delay, it should be easy to juke. Be carefull with all in her, because her ult is insane for this.
Jarvan IV
Keep your distance from his slow and juke the knockups. Other than that this lane should be winnable.
Jayce
This is an annoying matchup, his auto attacks are stronger than yours and his all in are stronger than your early and mid game. Make sure that before he goes in on you that you poked him enough with your Q.
Nasus
Extremely annoying matchup. The sustain he has with his Q will make it almost impossible to poke him. Try to deny his early game as much as you can and ask your jungler to help you.
Olaf
Olaf has alot of sustain and he could all in you at level one. Might be a good option to take E on level 2 so he wont be able to snowball you. DONT all in an olaf unless your getting a gank.
Renekton
This matchup is purely based on skill.
Stun him before he can stun you, and punish him everytime he wasted his E.
Riven
Easy punishable, but very dangerous at level 6. Make sure you poke her enough and punish her for every trade attempt.
Shen
Early game shen isnt that hard, but after he got one item... he becomes almost unkillable. Shen can win trades easily against you once he hits his taunt, so avoid this!
Trundle
His sustain is tough to keep poking and his pillar denies your E speed. Everytime he tries to trade with you, use your stun and back off a bit.
Vayne
Could be a hard opponent if she dodges your Qs with her tumble, but beside that you can easily instantly kill her at 6.
Xin Zhao
Everytime he jumps in, stun him and punish him for it.
Fiora
Really hard matchup, has sustain and an ability to deny your stun. Keep your distance but dont let her farm freely as she can lifesteal every damage you did to her.
Irelia
In my opinion the hardest matchup for kennen. Everytime you poke her she can stun you... Stay away from your low minions at level 5, this is her powerspike. Try and poke her BUT DONT ALLOW HER TO STUN YOU!
Kayle
Her kit is a tough matchup for kennen. Auto attacks hurts, slow and heal. Her ult makes it hard to all in her as well.
Lucky Qs and only all in her when you have enough damage to seal the deal.
Pantheon
A true lane bully, use your Qs and keep your distance for his Q or W. Once he is low enough GO FOR IT!
Rumble
He can push minions while hiding behind his own, try and make him overextend and punish him for it.
Swain
His trades are stronger than yours and at 6 he becomes almost unkillable for you. Try and make a go for it once he went out of his ult and try to kill him before it comes back up. Other than that keep it at poking with your Q.
Vladimir
Alot of sustain and damage, his pool to deny your stun AND not having ignite makes this matchup hard to kill. Poking wont do much so you definitely need junglers help for this.
Yorick
His Q has sustain, E has slow and he can cage you... Matchup is harder than it looks, so keep it at save poking and DONT OVEREXTEND, since yorick can punish you easily for it.
You can punish her so easily in lane with auto attacks and Qs. If you bully her good enough, then even at level 6 she wont be able to hurt you. Once she jumps on you, you can instantly punish her back.
Aurelion Sol
His Q is easy to juke and he needs to get close to you to deal damage with his stars. PERFECT FOR KENNEN!
Corki
Trades with auto attacks you will not win, poke him with Q and W and once he wasted his W you can go all in.
Diana
Early game easy to punish, just make sure you do this enough that at level 6 she wont be a threat to you.
Ekko
Dont let him push minions, and if he tries to get 3 stacks off on you, stun him and punish him for it. If he wasted his E he has no escapes.
Fizz
Punish him with auto attacks, and once he engages on you and used his E, all in him. At level 6 you have to avoid getting hit by his ult at all cost!
Gangplank
Dont allow him to use his Q on you for free. Bait him into your minions and punish him from there. Dont get hit by his barrels, either bait it out or destroy it.
Karthus
Play away from your minions and avoid his Qs. Punish him hard and make sure that you dont all in him when you`re low, because of his passive and ult.
Kassadin
Poke him with Q everytime he tries to Q you, if he manage to get his Q off on you, poke him with auto attacks instead untill his spellshield is gone.
Katarina
Punish her and make sure to stay away from blades laying on the ground.
Talon
Bait out his E and punish him during laning phase. Easy matchup in general but could become annoying when he rush hexdrinker.
Twisted Fate
After he used is W on a minion or has a blue card active, punish him hard.
Veigar
As long as you avoid his stun cage, and deny his early farm, this will be no threat at all. If he manage to have you caged, stun him before he is allowed to do anything else.
Xerath
His range is an annoying matchup for you, try to zone him and poke alot with your Q while dodging his skillshots.
Yasuo
Auto attack him ALOT, and once he wants to go in for you, stun him. Make sure his shield is never up so that every poke hurts him alot. You can deny him by ulting you by stunning him during a knockup.
Ziggs
Zone him hard, and dodge his Qs. This way he has to aim for you or try to clear the minion wave.
Ahri
Her kit is extremely annoying for you. Her Q goes through minions and her charm can mess everything up. Make sure you poke her low enough before going all in or she will just ult away. KEEP MOVING BEHIND MINIONS IN LANING PHASE!
Anivia
Her passive makes it hard to all in her, early game its worth flashing if that means you waste her passive. You`re flash will be up sooner than her passive that way you will kill her. Dodge her stun and dont overextend and get blocked by a wall. At level 6 you need to keep you distance and keep it at poking with Q till you can all in her.
Annie
Tough matchup, as long as she farms with her Q she barely gets out of mana. Try and poke her with Q and dont go all in when she charged up 3 bars out of 5 for her stun. If she wasted her stun to farm minions, thats your time to shine.
Azir
An annoying matchup, but not hard. Everytime he uses his soldiers to charge at you, just go in. His soldiers wont be able to reach you and you can fight him up close. MAKE SURE YOU WARDED THOUGH!
Karma
A slow, snare, can heal herself, give herself a shield and movement speed... not much you can do versus her. Try to poke her low and make sure she wont be able to ult W you to heal back up. Once she is low enough to make sure your all in kills her, DO IT!
LeBlanc
An alright matchup, dont stand to close to minions to avoid damage and dont get snared. Everytime she jumps towards you, punish her with an instant stun. Try and poke her as much as you can, but also keep your Q up as much as you can.
Lux
Long range wave clear and a snare that messes you up badly. Only way to win versus this lane is juke her abilities and try to zone her. After she used her abilities its ok to use E agressively AS LONG AS YOU WARD!
Malzahar
His passive is annoying to poke him and his waveclear is annoying to deal with.
Try and zone him or poke him when he goes for minions.
Orianna
Her ball can zone you in lane, so you gotta keep moving and try to poke her as much as you can. She pushes easily so dont stand to close to your minions.
Syndra
NEVER stay in a straight line of syndra and her balls. If you get stunned you get bullied on so easily. Play it save and only poke with Qs. Dont all in her when you`re at halve hp, since her ult will destroy you. Rushing zhonya against her is a good option.
Taliyah
You can punish her easily as long as you dont get hit by her W. Try and play behind your minions everytime she uses her Q. Force her to fight on ground where she`d Q before, so she wont do much damage with her Q.
Vel'Koz
Harder matchup than you think. But Vel Koz only has skillshot abilities besides his ult. Avoid to get hit by his abilities since at 6 he will be able to kill you if you`re low enough or recently hit by one of his abilities. Try to poke him by throwing sneaky Qs through minions, DONT OVEREXTEND!
Viktor
Tough matchup, dont get to close to him because of his Q and keep moving to not get hit by his E. Try and poke him low enough so you can instantly kill him.
Vladimir
Less annoying than vladimir being top, since now you got the ignite advantage. Try and poke him low enough and make sure that you stun him when you all in him instantly. If he goes in his pool its hard to kill him. You either instantly stun him before he goes in his pool and burst with ignite, OR you can bait out his pool first and go in afterwards.
Zed
Easy to punish but at level 3 you need to keep your distance. Make sure you keep moving so he wont be able to land his Q while using his shadow. Dont all in him unless you`re sure that will kill him right off the bat. When he ults you at level 6 try to stun him right away so he wont get any abilities off when he marked you. This way he wont be able to instantly kill you.
Brand
Horrible matchup. His W poke is long range and when you try to get to close, he stuns you and punish you. Buy early boots and make sure that before you go for pokes or trades to bait out his W or Q first. At level 6 you need to stay behind your minions and not to close to minions. Poke him low enough and make sure he doesnt stun you, and this should be alright.
Cassiopeia
As long as you dodge her Qs, she wont be able to outtrade you. Keep in mind that her W prevents you from flashing. When she is low dont all in her straight forward but stun her first OR pretend you`re going in to bait out her ult and turn around.
Lissandra
Stays behind minions and poke you. Her ult counters your all in as well. Really hard matchup, make sure to poke her low enough with every Q you can hit and keep her stunned before she can actually ult.
Morgana
Almost impossible matchup to win. She clears minions so easily with W and her spellshield prevents you from killing her. Try and poke her and consistenly damage her before she spellvamps her way back to full health. Dont all in her and take you`re time to farm up. She might be hard to kill, but she wont be able to kill you either as long as you dont overextend and dodge her snares.
Ryze
Really hard matchup to win, he can clear waves easily and his passive prevents you from instantly killing him. Play it save away from you minions and try to poke him as much as you can, only go all in when he is low enough to kill. You might need help from the jungler in order to kill him though.
Zilean
Extremely good waveclear and stun, stay away from your minions while you try to poke him. At level 6 its almost impossible to kill him so just focus on farm and go for kills when your jungler is there for you.
I made this guide for friends who wants to try Kennen. I know it might not seem like the best guide for everyone but I hope it still helps people who needs it :P
