As with most champions you put points into R whenever you can. You will be starting with your and then put one point in then Or you can Get before Tidecaller just for the CC. After that you put all your points into Till level 7 then you put a skill point in either Q or E, after you max W. Then you want to max either Q or E Whichever you put the other point in. Remeber to put your Skill points into R on level 11 and 16.

Surge Forward! Surging tides actually pretty useful even though it is just movement speed. You can use it to help you and your adc (Or anyone else) get to lane faster or help them escape/get a kill. Even better you can proc it from your E, W, Q, and R though it will mostly be from E or W.

Aqua Prison (Q)

Your CC The Aqua Prison can take a bit of practice to get used to but it is mostly about predicting where the enemy will go. It can be very useful as itll keep them in place for 1.5 seconds. Its very helpful in stopping a gank as if the jungler comes in you can bubble them.

Ebb and Flow (W)

Healz <3 The bread and butter of . You will wanna be using your Ebb and Flow during the early game to poke mostly as it does a good ammount of damage to the enemies allowing your adc to farm a bit easier. Remember that your W can bounce so you can use it on your adc and it will bounce to an enemy then to you if you are all in range for that to happen. Though the heal is weaker when it bounces so if you wanna heal your adc its smarter to start on them.

Tidecaller's Blessing (E)

Empower the Autos Your E empowers your targets autos and pairs really well with Ardent censer since it will increase their auto damage and attack speed. Remember it is only 3 autos

Tidal Wave (R)

The Wave Of Doom Your ult is really useful it slows enemies for 50 / 60 / 70 % and deals 150 / 250 /350 (+60% of AP). The slow duration lasts a minimum of 2 and max of 4 seconds. They are slowed for 4 seconds near the end of the ult but that is also a risk to take as the longer its out the easier it is to step out of its way
  • Try and only use your Aqua Prison when you feel its pretty easy to hit it. If you just use it to use it leaves you and your adc pretty defenseless and most competent enemy botlanes can use the fact that its on cooldown to all in you and your Adc.
  • Be careful when using your Ebb and Flow early game since it uses a lot of mana and will cause you to oom fast
  • You can use Tidal Wave behind teammates to speed them up and hopefully slow the enemy at the same time.
Summoner Spells

SUMMONER SPELLS -
FLASH: Flash is kinda essential on any champion as it can be used defensively and offensively.
Ignite: Ignite is a pretty standard take as it allows you to put out some extra damage and if by chance the enemy escapes the burn could finish them.
Exhaust: This isnt as common as exhaust but it still works since you can use it to secure kills by sowing them ore you can even use it to slow a gank. Its also possible to use your exhaust to land a Aqua Prison
Runes Main tree
  • KEYSTONE
  • Summon Aery: With these, Nami is able to increase her damage with her poke and also provide a bit of a shield when using her E or W on an ally
  • MAJOR RUNE
  • Manaflow Band: This is very useful on Nami as it allows her to gain up to 250 mana. And at 250 you also get 1% of your missing mana every 5 seconds. This helps nami a ton since she very mana hungry.
  • MINOR RUNE
  • Transcendence: Cool-down Reduction Helps nami a lot and as you will be building items with cdr you could end up gaining more ap
  • MINOR RUNE
  • Scorch: Scorch helps a lot in your early game pokes and seems much better than any of the last tier runes
Runes Secondary - Resolve
  • Minor Rune
  • Bone Plating: This allows nami to be a little safer when she is going in for a poke
  • MINOR RUNE
  • Revitalize: This causes your heal to be a bit stronger which is gonna help overall.
Runes Secondary - Insperation
  • Minor Rune
  • Biscuit Delivery: It allows nami to stay in lane longer as it restores a bit of health but the main reason is the mana restoration.
  • MINOR RUNE
  • Time Warp Tonic: Time warp tonic is pretty decent as it instantly gives 50% of the health and mana of the consumable and grants a 5% movement speed buff while under its effects. The downside is it puts the consumable on cool-down until the duration ends
Items
Damage to heal I prefer to rush athene's first then ardent as it helps overall especially with heals but if you are playing with a heavy AA champ sucha as Kai'Sa then you may want to get ardent first
Attack Speed + This item is pretty good since it increases attacks speed when you heal or shield (which you will do with w and e) as well as increases heal and shielding too.
Extra wards We want this since it offers good stats including gold income when you damage an enemy champ but since you complete the quest you revive 4 wards (as an active) to place whenever you go back to fountain. This is important since warding is one of your biggest jobs as a support. Its also important as it allows you to change your Stealth Ward to an Oracle Lens allowing you to clear enemy vision.
Holy Light Redemption really helps during teamfights as you get an aoe heal but it also does a bit of damage. It also is the same as ardent where it gives you increased shielding and healing
Boots
-OR-
Mobility Boots > Movement Mobi boots makes roaming so much easier since it gives a large ammount of movement speed which is good no matter what.
Ionian Boots > CDRThese boots are good for some extra cdr which if you are taking transcendence could mean extra damage. Grab these boots instead of Mobility Boots for the extra cdr / damage.
