Introduction

Hi, I'm not the best player (currently Silver 4) though I like to play Poppy. I don't play Poppy in ranked because of my fear of being ridiculed by other players because of a "troll pick", but I'll tell you this, Poppy is OP and here is why.

Runes

First with the runes. I like to have 9 AD reds, 9 armor yellows, 9 MR blues, and 2 AD quints and 1 LS quint (You can switch the lifesteal quint with AD quint if you feel you aren't doing enough damage in lane). These runes are great primarily because you can do damage while still being able to somewhat be alive.

The mastery page is a very simple AD bruiser mastery page. With the runic shield you might be able to get a quick Q off you opponent without taking damage.

Items

I like to pick Poppy when you have enough tanks on your team because I like going non-tanky Poppy. I just love seeing an underused champion dealing tons of damage. You still can build tanky on Poppy though you won't feel the exhilaration of dealing MASSIVE damage.

Skill Sequence

The skill sequence is your standard Poppy skill sequence. You can level up Q at level 3 again, but I like to play it safe and being careful of early ganks.

Spells

Poppy's kit is not the strongest kit but still strong. You have a gap closer (E), an okay escape (W, and maybe E), something that deals A LOT of damage if built correctly (Q), and probably the best skill on Poppy, her ultimate which can be a great counter peel, great focusing potential, and awesome 2(or more)v1 opportunities.

Pros / Cons

Pros

- Can't peel anybody with Poppy around
- Think you can kill Poppy, think again *ultis support*

Cons

- Not the best laning phase
- Gets rekt against ranged champions

Cool tricks you can do with Poppy

- Take into account that you can stun someone by slamming them into a wall and then you could ulti that person and then kill them. No one can stop you expect the person you ultied which makes for amazing focusing.

- Use your E as an escape.

Summary

Poppy, overall is a decent champion, though you have to know how to use the best of Poppy instead of thinking that she is a "troll pick" and she is "one of the worst champions"
