This a short guide made to highlight pure AP Katarina awesomness in dominion.
Its made only as simple build(but if popular, can be expanded)

I am sorry for my bad english and not-so-pretty formating because this is my first guide.

tl:dr - read everything in red and everything above.

Why even play dominion with katarina?
- domionion is great for farming IP and XP(in main activity hours)
-it allows you more shine if you are better player since you dont rely on your team so much
- Katarina is very fun to play because she is naturally quick and her quickness was buffed by rework.

Why not-to-play dominion with katarina?

Runes? What to say about runes, everyone loves his way and as a pure AP you got only a few options. If you dont have your favourite runes in this guide works perfectly for me.

Not much to say here you re an AP so pick your favourite AP runes. You might consider going for running speed but i didnt find it nessery

Items choice is the first important chapter - the core build is clear:
Ionian Boots of Lucidity
Hextech Revolver
Rylai's Crystal Scepter
Deathfire Grasp important - put this on keybound smartcast space in inventory(I presonally use slot 6 bound on MOUSE, you are quick champion and quick reaction is edge between kill and death)
those can be followed by items a top page or situational items depending on enemy team picks

YES, insist on leveling Shunpo fisrt!
You need mobility and with the CDR this guide give you v got big edge over your enemy, especially on mid levels.
Shunpo is followed by Bouncing Blades as best scaling damage source and finished by Preparation. Pick ulti wherever possible.
Basicly you dont need to die at all untill later-mid game with this leveling order, even though it doesnt seems so good at first look, just try it!

IMPORTANT - dont be lazy and bind all spell on smartcast!

Katarina is amazing pick for dominion unless other team is very tanky, I got very high win ratio so far with this build (about 70%) and i always pwned other team´s katarina built by not-pure AP guides for classic game.

TO DO: If this guide gets voted up enought (75%+, what I do not think would happend) I can give this guide proper format and reveal more about my katarina in dominion.
