Pros:
Really good ganker at 6
High Damage
Good clear times
Built in steroids

Cons:
Not that good at ganking before 6
Squishy early game
Ultimate has a short range
Needs blue buff early

What you need to do

KILL EVERYONE AND CARRY SCRUBSSSSSSS

Runes

I take runes without any AD.
Why I do this is because nocturne really doesn't need any ad runes.

I take attack speed marks, this is useful on all junglers especially nocturne because of his passive.

I have armor seals and magic resistance glyphs, These are so you don't die early.

I have movement speed quints on all of my junglers, only because i like travelling around the map as fast as possible.

Creeping / Jungling

I usually like to start Blue Buff, this is because Nocturne is quite blue dependent.

Having red buff when you gank is really important because it helps you secure the fear, or make them flash.

If you can ask your team to play defensively and so you dont need to gank pre 8 will help you a lot, because once you hit your level 6 you can get kills pretty much anywhere.

Team Work

In teamfights, it is IMPORTANT that your team knows that you are going in, if you jump in prematurely then you will die and cause your team to lose.
With your frozen mallet you will be able to stick with the enemy Marksman.
