This is a guide for malzahar, the prophet of the void. Malzahar is a very underrated but very op midlaner and specializes in damage over time abilities. After his rework he is a healthy and not mana wasting champion because he had to spam ablities for a voidling that spawned at the moment you didnt want it and it was very hard to make an r+w combo.

Those runes are for low elo so if you are high elo you'll have more rune pages and haves scarling cd, e.t.c.

As Malzahar specializes in damage over time consider deathfire touch to be the best option.

As for the items you gwanna get the most damage over time. Morello is fore the mana and cd and sorcerers (not ionians) are the best option in my opininon. Liandrys and rylais for crazy e and zhonya for you being in stasis and the w doing all the work. For final item consider rabadons.

Take flash of course ghost so you can be mobile. or instead of ghost take tp or exhaust if you have a high damage enemy like kat

Pros he destroys melee champs and farms well without having mana problems. Cons he wastes a lot of mana if you cant use e properly and not a lot of mobility.

In teamfights, poke with e,q and w. Ult stong targets or enemies that are getting away.

You can farm easily with e and q. earlygame try to focus the cannon minion and the minion with malefic visions on it so malefic visions spread like a virus.
