hello, my name is jeppe AKA jepzzen, im a new "mobafire guide maker" so please have that in mind when you are rating this guide.

I have played and loved olaf for a long time.
So i wanted to make a NEW kind a build for olaf = BOT LAIN OLAF!

this guide is most for the "new Olaf players" out there.

this is a work in progress build, that means that im still working on it.

I have chosen 2 summonner spells that always work:

Ghost: becuase it synchronize really well with your ult.

Exhaust: Its a great suport spell that never goes wrong.

Other Viable Options:

Flash: flash can also work, if you close to get a penta or somthing like that, but the last enemy is behind a wall or somthing, you can always flash over the wall.

Clairvoyance: this spell is really for the more advarnced olaf players. If we take a scenario: you have poked an enemy so mutch down that you can kill him with your Q. But you can't see him because of the Fog of war. So you use Clairvoyance and snipe him down.

Well there isn't a lot to say about the rune set.

Armor Penetration Marks: i have chosen Armor penetration because it's great if your enemy ad carry is building/having some armor in eather his build or in his masteries/runes.

Armor Seals: so the enemy ad carry don't poke you too mutch down.

Magic Resist Glyphs: so the enemy suport don't poke you too mutch down.

Movement Speed Quints: because it synchronize really nice with you'r ult.

now i will give you a quick guide in why i'm selects the specific items.

Mercury's Threads:
Because i really like them on olaf, the tenacity is really nice on olaf because it synchronize really well with his ghost.

Zeke's Herald:
Because everything is good on that items. Health is great because his E uses Hp. Cooldown reduction is also great with his Q, because then he can spam his axe.

Shurelya's Reverie:
The passive on this item is great, because olaf really need that movement speed. And is great because you can build it out of you'r only "gold pr. 10" item.

Ruby sightstone:
Because you need the HP, and you/your team needs the ward passive.

Frozen Mallet:
This item are you allways going to build on olaf, even if he isn't going suport. Because of the HP and the dammage and the slow.

Blade of the Ruined King:
This is also a great item on olaf because the dammage/life steal/attack speed synchronize really well with your W. and the passive is also pretty nice, it's a great life saver.

This is also a quick walktrough of his Abilities:

His passive:
Berserker Rage: Olaf's attack speed increases by 1% for every 1% of his missing health.

His Q:
Undertow: ACTIVE: Olaf throws an axe in a line to a target point, dealing physical damage and slowing enemies it passes through. The slow decays over 2.5 seconds.
The axe remains at the target location until Undertow is off cooldown. If Olaf picks up the axe, Undertow's cooldown is reduced by 4.5 seconds.

His W:
Vicious Strikes: ACTIVE: For 6 seconds, Olaf gains increased attack damage, life steal and spell vamp.

His E:
Reckless Swing: ACTIVE: Olaf attacks with such force that it deals true damage to his target.

His R:
Ragnarok: ACTIVE: Olaf instantly removes all crowd control effects from himself. For the next 6 seconds, he is immune to disables (including silences and blinds) and has increased armor, magic resist and armor penetration.

Olaf is really great with:
Vayne: because she can Q,E the enemy over to you, then can you use your E,Q combo while Vayne is doing her stuff, and THEN the enemy is dead for sure.

Tristana: because she can W,R the enemy over to you, then can you use your E,Q combo while Tristana is doing her stuff, and THEN the enemy is dead for sure.

Ezreal: together with Olaf's Q and Ezreal's Q you have great poke.

pros:
Deals true dammage.
Have a great skillshot slow.
Scales well with health items


Cons:
The true dammage also hurts olaf him self (because it cost hp).
The slow/Q can be a bit hard to land.
