Hope you plan on updating this guide soon because as far as I've read it isnt super impressive or all that good. First of all you failed to mention that maxing a stance causes it's mana costs to go down. Secondly, I dont know if you know this but level 1 turtle stance actually gives as much lifesteal as a blade of the ruined king which allows you to clear a solid 3 or four times before your first back which makes it alot nicer to max second. Next, trick seldom builds cinderhulk on udyr due to the fact that devourer just scales you into a mid game god. Not to mention that cinderhulk is only efficient if you stack health items which you have practically none of. Also theres the fact that Trick stated "I build merc treads into every team comp, even a full AD team comp." while that statement was made during a different video it still stands valid. And the basic logic behind it is that the tenacity is too valuable of a stat to not have because this CC heavy meta destroys people who get locked down for too long. You also fail to mention Blade of the Ruined king in your builds which is an item that is actually quite effective on cinderhulk Udyr due to the simple fact that a turtle max second allows you to have about 30% lifesteal at level 11. and the only thing you get out of a bear stance max second is extended move speed and extended move speed duration, no matter what the stun is only 1 second and no matter what its going to take 6 seconds until you can stun them again. Take this as you will, this is my own experience.


Thanks for the feedback/criticism, I have updated the guide as I noticed that I had cinderhulk still there, I use devourer now too, also added the mana cost that comes with leveling up stances. Changed Tabi's to Merc Treads as I have none in my build.

Clearing once and going to get the item is better because it'll help, I mean you need to go back anyway, so you may as well go back, get the item and pots and go back and jungle safer. It's just my preference though.

Splitpushing you should do when your team is either losing or very strong. Theres not really a technique, just split, then help team.

I have to say i can clear the whole jungle twice before i need to go B s o should i clear it or go B after the Blue/Wolfes

Ravenous Hydra is useless on Udyr, maybe for split pushing but I'd rather be tanky.
A frozen heart instead of a Spirit stone is obvious because Spirit Stone is useless after maybe 25-30 minutes. It's only to help clear the jungle till you get your Feral Flare.

Final build should be:
Feral Flare
Trinity Force
Frozen Heart
Spirit Visage
Zephyr
Guardian Angel or Randuin's Omen

I tried this and it deals enjoyable 500-600 crits and allows for solo baron in 23 seconds, which might help out in some situations.

Just my personal opinion . Would it be better a better choice if Udyr rush glacial shroud and sheen 1st ? Not going for sunfire , with both glacial shroud and sheen , it would be able to satisfy his thirst of mana during the early and mid game . When it comes to late game , Udyr can easily upgrade them to Frozen heart and Tri force . Perhaps getting Locket over Banshee as it provides extra MR to the team .


I totally agree with you. a good mana sustain as early as possible because you can comfortably spam spells. also the CDR really woks well on udyr and you can easily proc the sheen since can pretty much use all 4 skills in combat.

I dont know if more people agree with me on what i am about to say, but;
I see almost no cooldown reduction in any udyr build. for a champ who has loads of spell damage is important to cast as often as possible. Also in case of escaping CDR makes the difference easy.
And im not completely sure of this, but udyr is the only champion i know of whom has a global cooldown on his spells. which means whenever he casts a spell he has to wait 2 seconds (for example) on all his abilities. BUT with CDR you drop the time on the global cooldown.

Ive got a build in which says exactly how udyr should be played and I am not convinced that any of these builds meet the stats that udyr requires .

Hmmm, well it really depends if you're owning (which I'm gathering you were), but if I was playing, I'd want some defence like Spirit Visage or Frozen Heart in place of Spirit Stone and Ravenous Hydra
