Introduction
Hello everybody, and welcome to my Comprehensive Season 3 Jayce guide. First of all, I'd just like to say that this is my first guide here on MOBAfire, and obviously, Isn't formatted or anything. Hope you like it, and feel free to leave feedback and thoughts in the discussion section.

Moving on to the guide, This guide is for Jayce, the defender of tomorrow. This guide, I've tried to bring to you and explain, the way I personally play Jayce. With this guide, I hope that you can take what I've given you and expand and tweak your own builds to improve and be different in the way you play Jayce.

I've played Jayce for over 100 games, including normals, ranked games and customs. I absolutely adore Jayce as a champion, because of what he brings to team fights, and League of Legends in general. The ability to do high damage poke with his E+Q combo in ranged, and the high burst damage he can deal in melee form.

In lane however, Jayce can get countered, but can still be effective if played and executed correctly. I'll be going over what to look out for in this guide. He's a very strong top, and very versatile.

A short overview of Jayce

Jayce is an AD bruiser. He has strong poke damage with his combination of Acceleration Gate and Shock Blast. Because he's focused on doing more damage, it is critical for him to get Trinity Force, Black Cleaver and Bloodthirster because is these are his damage dealing items. Since he's mainly played as an AD bruiser, it's also helpful to add to your build a Guardian Angel as a defensive item. Especially in very late game, Guardian Angel is a game changing item. Furthermore, Jayce doesn't really have to rely on basic attacks to do heavy damage, he can simply rely on his abilities to do a well-round good amount of damage.
